Jingdezhen official kiln museum is located on the former site of Zhushan in Jingdezhen. It belongs to the same scenic area as the Royal kiln. You need to buy a ticket at the entrance of the Royal kiln to visit.
It was called Juzhu Pavilion in Tang Dynasty, Zhongli Pavilion in Song Dynasty, Chaotian Pavilion and Huancui Pavilion in Ming Dynasty, Wenchang Pavilion in Qing Dynasty, and Longzhu pavilion after reconstruction in early 20th century. After the reconstruction of Longzhu Pavilion in 1987, it is a six story palace building with double eaves of Ming Dynasty. It is 34.5 meters high and covers an area of 1650 square meters. There are countless precious cultural relics buried around it. Since the Ming Dynasty, Longzhu pavilion has been the representative building of imperial ware factory and imperial kiln factory. It is the official kiln site of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and has become the city emblem of Jingdezhen.
In addition, there are a large number of official porcelain treasures and official kiln historical materials in the pavilion. Now, there are 10000 blue and white underglaze red vases, Ming Dynasty official kiln giant dragon VAT and Ming Dynasty official kiln porcelain treasures unearthed in Zhushan.

Evolution of construction
Jingdezhen Royal Kiln Museum was established on November 18, 1998, formerly known as "Jingdezhen official kiln Museum". On January 17, 2013, it was officially renamed as "Jingdezhen Royal Kiln Museum" with the approval of the Provincial Department of culture, and worked with Jingdezhen Institute of ceramic archaeology. Since 1982, archaeologists have been rescuing and excavating extremely rich relics at the infrastructure sites around Zhushan. After more than ten years of hard sorting, and adopting the method of "multi-level classification, series restoration", more than 1000 pieces of high-quality official kilns have been restored. Now they are all collected in Jingdezhen Royal Kiln Museum.

The relics on display are: walls, kilns, and pits for buried imperial porcelain. It is of great significance to study the Ming Dynasty official kilns, especially the Ming Dynasty official kiln porcelain.
