Chen Baisha temple in Jiangmen
Chen Baisha temple is located in Baisha village, the suburb of Jiangmen City. It was built in the 12th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1584). It has become the leading historical and cultural brand in Jiangmen City. In 1985, Jiangmen municipal government funded the renovation of Chen Baisha ancestral hall and opened it as Chen Baisha memorial hall, becoming a well-known tourist attraction. In October 2019, it was listed in the list of the eighth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Introduction
In the center of the temple is a statue of Chen Baisha, beside which there are plaques, couplets and inscriptions in Baisha's handwriting. The wooden and stone archway in front of the gate has three facades and four columns on the third floor. There are eaves on the upper floor, and under the eaves are exquisite and dense brackets, rafters and exquisite tile carving. It is an exquisitely existing Ming Dynasty archway in Guangdong. There are Qianmen hall, Zhenjie hall, Chongzheng Hall and Biyu building in the temple, all of which are buildings with one entrance, four buildings and two corridors.

There are large-scale traditional temple fairs during the Spring Festival, and ringing the bell to welcome the new year has become people's custom. Every year on the eve of the lunar new year, people gather in Yutai temple to wait for the New Year bell to ring. They put incense on their heads to pray for the well-being of the whole family in the new year. Every October, dragon boat race is held. People in Wuyi have always attached great importance to climbing on Chongyang. In guangjiangmen, Huicheng and surrounding areas, hundreds of thousands of people climb Guifeng and chishi every year.
