The origin of Lama mountain is related to the battle of Ulan Butong in Kangxi. He followed his great ministers back to Rehe to invite 365 lamas to Dongdashan (today's Lama mountain) to sacrifice for 7749 days Later, in the mid autumn of every year, Kangxi sent rehedo to lead lamas to this mountain to offer sacrifices. Lama mountain got its name from this. According to the local old man, there was still a memorial tablet on the mountain in the 1940s, which was later destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution". Now Lama mountain is famous for its beautiful scenery. It is one of the best places for many photographers to shoot sunrise.
