Yongchang beihaizi Park
Yongbei Haizi Park, also known as the North Lake, is one kilometer north of the county. It is named after the collection of clear springs and the overflowing water. Beihaizi is located at the edge of DONGDAHE alluvial fan in the north foot of Qilian Mountain, where the spring flows into Jinchuan river. Among all the springs, Mata spring is the most famous. The spring water flows up all the year round. The two sceneries of the eight sceneries in Yongchang are "the moon in the Willow Pond" and "the sound of the golden water". Beihaizi park is also a resort of ancient buildings, which is well-known for Jinchuan temple. Jinchuan temple was built in Tang Dynasty. Only one brick tower in Ming Dynasty was left. Roads were repaired in the sixth year of Guangxu and destroyed in 1936, but then the main hall at the foot of the mountain and Baizi cave were rebuilt. At present, the scenery is concentrated in the western section. When you step on the mountain path, you will see a temple (Zhenwu Temple). Climbing up the newly built mountain path steps are the climbing corridor, the viewing Pavilion, and then Baizi cave. The cave is 4 meters deep and 3 meters wide. The important commanders of the Red Army during the western expedition in the winter of 1936 used it as a base. At the top of the mountain, there is the Dacheng Hall of Confucius hill, which is magnificent.
