On the ninth day of August in 1754, Emperor Aixinjueluo Hongli of emperor gaozongchun of Qing Dynasty visited Longfeng temple and offered sacrifices to Longtan. He wrote a plaque of "Fuyou Dadong" for the main hall of Guanyin hall, and sealed a 28 meter tall, straight and straight huangbola tree as "divine tree". Since then, in spring and autumn every year, under the leadership of the general of Jilin, the civil and military officials of the Qing Dynasty stationed in Jilin went to Longtan mountain to worship "Longtan" and "Shenshu". The origin of the name

There are Longtan Mountain Park and the Ancient City Longtan mountain city in the period of Koguryo on Longtan mountain. Longtan mountain city has been listed as a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level and is a famous scenic spot in Jilin Province. Longtan mountain is named for its mountain city and the legend of Longtan in the city.

There is still a touching fairy tale about the origin of Longtan. It is said that a long time ago, the weather around Longtan mountain was good, the grain was plentiful, the people were fishing, hunting, farming and weaving, and they lived and worked in peace and contentment. One day, suddenly, the sky was dark and the earth was dark. Lightning and thunder came down from the sky and a dragon fell into the mountain pool. From then on, people called the pool Longtan and the mountain Longtan. This evil dragon often calls the wind and rain, and floods the people at the foot of the mountain. One year, the evil dragon floods again, submerging the crops and houses at the foot of the mountain, and the people flee for their lives. A girl named Lin Xiaomei was also washed away by the flood. Her father Lin Weng tried hard to catch up with her and finally swam to her daughter. Just about to save his daughter, suddenly a wounded swallow fell in front of Lin Weng. Lin Weng saved the swallow first, and then saw his daughter, but he disappeared. Lin Weng and his wife lost their only daughter. They were in agony. At this time, the rescued swallow suddenly spoke. She comforted the old couple and recognized Lin Weng and his wife as parents. Because the swallow grew up in Longtan, we all affectionately call her Longtan Yan. In order to get rid of the evil dragon and repay Lin Weng and his wife's life-saving kindness, Longtan Yan decided to fly to the South China Sea fairy mountain to learn art. Three years later, Longtan Yan came back with success and led all the swallows to defeat the evil dragon. From then on, the people at the foot of Longtan mountain lived a peaceful life.
