Houliang of the Five Dynasties
In the late Liang Dynasty, Lu Guanghou occupied Qianzhou (today's Ganzhou) and governed qianshaozhou (today's Ganzhou and Shaoguan). For political and military needs, he carried out large-scale urban expansion projects. After the expansion, Ganzhou city faces the river on three sides, and a deep and wide moat was excavated to the south of the river. Until the period of the Republic of China, the scope of Ganzhou City remained unchanged.
Song dynasty
Before the Song Dynasty, the city wall of Ganzhou City was built with loess. Since the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty, due to the opening of Dayuling Road, Ganzhou City has become a transportation hub in Southeast China, with unprecedented economic prosperity. He was a water rodent at the age of 20, and Zong Han was the site of cutting stones, smelting iron and solidifying it, so he stood upright." Since then, after more than 800 years of Southern Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, the city walls have been continuously repaired and strengthened. According to the investigation of Xiaogu in recent years, 40 pieces have been found on the walls of Ganzhou ancient city There are more than 20 kinds of bricks with different inscriptions.
