Phoenix Tower
Phoenix towers, the world's tallest building to be built in Wuhan, China, will overtake the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai and become the world's tallest building, according to the news on June 20, 2014. The 828 meter tall Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai is the tallest building in the world. However, with the rise of a new round of super-high building boom, the crown on the head of the Burj Khalifa tower may soon change its owner.
Phoenix Tower was designed by chetwoods architects, who was responsible for the reconstruction project of London Bridge in 2009. It perfectly embodies the new architectural concept of nature and environmental protection. Chetwoods adopts the mythical style of "double phoenix" and adopts the combined structure of high and low towers. The higher tower is "phoenix", and the lower tower is "phoenix". With a height of 3280 feet and an area of nearly 70000 square meters, the building will be located on a 45 hectare island in the middle of a lake.
In terms of facilities, Phoenix Tower will be equipped with lake water filtration system, air purification system and solar power generation system. The lower half of the tower is a human activity area, equipped with wind power generation system, and the upper half of the two towers will be a complete recyclable system. In addition to the building itself, chetwoods also introduced lightweight photovoltaic cladding, biological pollution absorbing coatings and thermal chimneys for the twin towers.
Whether the network message is true remains to be further confirmed.
Construction scale
China is about to usher in another two record breaking twin towers. The project is located on a 47 hectare (116 acre) island in the middle of a lake, covering an area of 7 hectares (17 acres).
Chetwoods and Hua Yan are working together to design the Phoenix Tower in Wuhan, China, and have announced plans for its construction. After completion, the Phoenix Tower will become the tallest skyscraper in the world.
Chetwood has put forward four core plans, hoping that these two super high skyscrapers will add vitality to Chinese cities and enrich urban architecture.
Architectural design
The building will be built on an island in the lake, covering about 47 hectares. The building will use wind turbines, solar panels, water collection devices, hydrogen fuel cells and biomass boilers to generate electricity for the building and surrounding communities. These power generation facilities are efficient, clean and environmentally friendly.
The design inspiration of the two high-rise buildings comes from China's Phoenix, which represents men and women, realizing the perfect balance of the building. The higher tower is "Feng", and the lower one is "Huang". Among them, "Phoenix Tower" provides renewable energy for "Phoenix Tower". The design of the two towers also promotes the sustainable development of the region.
The "Phoenix Tower" project in Wuhan is still waiting for the final approval of Wuhan city. If all goes well, the foundation of the project will be laid in 2015, and the total construction period is expected to take at least three years.
If the Kingdom tower of Saudi Arabia is completed in 2020, the Phoenix Tower and the Kingdom tower may be listed as the tallest building in the world, but some sources say that the height of the Kingdom tower will reach 1001 meters, some say 1007 meters. Whether this information is true remains to be further confirmed. If the news is true, the Phoenix Tower may be the second tallest building in the world after 2020, but it will still be the tallest building in China and even in East Asia.
