Li Shaochun memorial hall is designed and written by famous opera critics and architectural experts. Li Shaochun memorial hall is located in Yijin Middle Road, Bazhou City, from the VIP Hall and exhibition hall entrance

It is composed of three parts, namely, the classical drama building, with a total area of 3000m2. In the VIP Hall, the inscriptions of experts attending the seminar were displayed, expressing the concern and love of people from all walks of life for Li Shaochun's Peking opera art.

Li Shaochun Memorial

Li Shaochun memorial hall is a key project in the development and construction plan of the 11th five year plan. It is an important content of "striving for a strong economic city, building a famous cultural city, and building a harmonious Bazhou". It is a cultural facility with the main functions of "celebrity Memorial, art research, drama exhibition, tourism and leisure".

In February 2020, in order to thank the national medical staff for their dedication, from the end of the epidemic to December 31, 2020, the scenic spot implemented a free and open preferential policy for medical workers with medical related certificates.

Construction process

Li Shaochun memorial hall is designed and written by famous opera critics and architectural experts. During the preparation, he repeatedly solicited the opinions of Li Shaochun's relatives; twice invited dozens of leaders of higher authorities, well-known opera critics and famous opera performing artists to come for guidance; successively visited more than ten provinces and cities, visited experts, scholars, insiders and collaborators, and collected information on the construction and exhibition arrangement of the museum. With the strong support of people from all walks of life, the museum was built in Shanghai On November 4, 2006, on the 87th anniversary of Li Shaochun's birth, the ribbon was cut and the museum opened.

Located on Yijin middle road in Bazhou City, Li Shaochun memorial hall is composed of VIP Hall, exhibition hall and classical drama building, with a total area of 3000m2.

In the VIP Hall, the inscriptions of experts attending the seminar were displayed, expressing the concern and love of people from all walks of life for Li Shaochun's Peking opera art.

Layering of exhibition hall

The exhibition hall is divided into six parts: the preface hall, the first exhibition hall (the legend of powder and ink), the second exhibition hall (the heroic epic), the third exhibition hall (the flowers), the fourth exhibition hall (the charm of spring) and the audio-visual hall.

Lobby

The preface hall is located in the south of the front hall of the memorial hall. Through a number of precious historical materials, it introduces the artistic life and life footprints of Li Guichun, the father of Mr. Li Shaochun (stage name xiaodazi), and focuses on two major contributions in his life: one is that he created liantai opera in the history of opera art development as a generation of opera masters, and won the reputation of "living Baogong of the southern school"; the other is that he served as an educator of opera Li Shaochun was cultivated by his family in a unique way of teaching children. At the same time, it fully excavates and shows the origin between Li's father and son and the fertile land of "Yanzhao pear garden" and the Bazhou culture with the essence of "surpassing others".

Exhibition hall 1: "Legend of powder and ink"

This paper introduces the legendary life of Li Shaochun. The exhibition hall is divided into six parts: "sitting in Tianjin gate", "going to Beijing for examination", "galloping north and South", "great good years", study and more.

This exhibition hall covers about one-third of the total area of the exhibition hall. The main content comprehensively shows Mr. Li Shaochun's short, brilliant and tragic legendary life from sitting in kedazi building to his death in the "Cultural Revolution". The exhibition hall is simple and elegant with clear lines. Nearly 300 precious objects and a large number of rich and detailed photos and text materials outline the continuous enrichment and development of this versatile artist The artistic style of enriching oneself, constantly pursuing perfection, and the artistic road and achievement from success to brilliance and peak.

In the remaining parts of the first exhibition hall, Li Shaochun's nine paintings are displayed, namely: chrysanthemum stone, plum blossom Narcissus, cowherd, ink bamboo, plum blossom, grape, bamboo Narcissus, bamboo stone and landscape painting.

Classical small theater building: the small theater building is a supporting facility of the memorial hall, providing a place for opera research, performance practice, fans' reunion, and leisure entertainment. With a construction area of 342m2, the Xiaoxi building takes the palace theater and the folk theater as the basic style. It is carved with birch and pear wood and pasted with gold. It is simple and elegant. There are stage, VIP box, teahouse and circular cloister in the theater building. The lighting and sound facilities with first-class technology in China are fully functional and can be used by more than 100 audiences.

With a construction area of 342m2, the Xiaoxi building takes the palace theater and the folk theater as the basic style. It is carved with birch and pear wood and pasted with gold. It is simple and elegant. There are stage, VIP box, teahouse and circular cloister in the theater building. The lighting and sound facilities with first-class technology in China are fully functional and can be used by more than 100 audiences.

In terms of overall planning and design, exhibition hall layout and scale, and decoration level, Li Shaochun memorial hall is in the leading position among county-level cities in China. It has become a business card to show Bazhou style, build a famous cultural city, and call for "hometown of opera".

In January 2008, Li Shaochun Memorial Hall successfully applied to be a national AAA tourist attraction, Taking this opportunity, the memorial hall has raised higher requirements for the service of scenic spots by upgrading the grade and creating high-quality products. It has further improved and enhanced the work of strengthening tourism promotion, improving infrastructure construction, and doing a good job in safety and health. In February 2020, in order to thank the national medical staff for their dedication, from the end of the epidemic to December 31, 2020, all medical workers in the scenic area (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) are free of charge with valid certificates. Medical workers with their ID card and original medical related documents can enjoy the annual discount.
