It is a famous Anti Japanese hero of Changzhou in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty
It was named after the writer Tang Jingchuan. Tang Jingchuan was born in Changzhou in Ming Dynasty (now Changzhou). His original name was Tang Shunzhi. He was named Jingchuan because he loved Jingxi mountains and rivers. In 1529, when he was 23 years old, he became a Jinshi, the first in the ceremony examination, and became an editor in the Imperial Academy. One year later, he returned home from his illness. After 20 years of study, he was proficient in everything he learned. Mr. Jingchuan is not only a famous litterateur, but also a famous Anti Japanese hero. He is skillful in riding and shooting. Since then, he personally supervised the Haishi to snipe the Japanese pirates and made many miraculous achievements. Later, because he had lived in the sea for a long time and his feet and abdomen were swollen, he died of serious illness on the way to Fengyang governor. He was 54 years old.
In 1982, Tang Jingchuan's tomb area was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province.
