Longwan Village
Longwan village is located in Wucheng Town, Xiuning County, Anhui Province. It is 23 kilometers away from Xiuning County and 16 kilometers away from Tunxi.
Ancient Wharf
In ancient times, there were two famous water transport docks, one at Longwan and the other at Xikou. Xikou is the starting point wharf, and Longwan is the hub wharf. There are many ships berthing and a large number of freight. It is a distribution center carrying the mountain goods and local products on the border of Anhui and Jiangxi. The Liugujian River, which originated in Liugujian, runs eastward to Longwan, turning 120 degrees, and converges with the Yangong River on the right to the north, hence the name of "Longwan". Longwan waterway reaches Wucheng in the south, Xikou in the west, Tunxi in the northeast and Hangzhou. Lu Tong Wuyuan is a post road from Fu Zhi to Wuyuan.
In ancient times, on the surface of the Longwan River, the sails and shadows were dotted and sometimes formed into lines, and the songs of songs and songs were gathered to form a slender song. They came to and fro the shore, and berthed up and down, which made the Lingshui Longwan more lively. At the mouth of the Yangong River, the river is hundreds of meters wide. The quay by the river stretches for several miles. On the Bank of the wharf, the stone piles are lined up by the bank. On the largest wharf No.1, a bridge is flying in the air to the opposite bank, connecting Longwan and Shuanglong.
The 600 meter long wharf has three passageways connecting the streets, and the most prosperous wharf is the Moruo Longwan bridge wharf. Now, standing on this wharf, we can see that most of the docks and quays built along the river are still there, and a ship pile still sticks to its post, either upright or leaning, or high or low, silently witnessing an unforgettable history.
Longwan old street
The busy docks connect the busy markets. In the past, Longwan street was 2 li long, divided into four sections: upper, middle, lower and foot. Shuxia street and middle street, the most prosperous, were connected to the wharf. Every year, thousands of loads of salt are transported by water from Zhejiang Province, and then transported by land to the northeast mountainous areas of Jiangxi Province. Tea and local products are exported to Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Luzhou. For hundreds of years, Longwan has been an important salt port in the border area between Anhui and Jiangxi. Until the period of the Republic of China, there were six salt stacks, 13 salt platforms and one salt burning farm in Longwan. Now there are two former sites of salt stacks, one of which is "taiguan salt stack". The big black spots on both sides of the gate are still visible. Along the street there are dozens of shops, such as tea shop, groceries, Chinese medicine, cloth, tobacco and wine, tofu, etc. The land route is all shouldered. It takes 90 kilometers to go back and forth and cross five mountains. At that time, it was called "jiangwandan", which means from Longwan to Wuyuan Jiangwan. There is a road Pavilion in the fourth fan of the third section of Longwan. There are two seal characters in the north and south, one is "Xixi" and the other is "hustle and bustle".
Longwan levee
From the perspective of ancient relics, Longwan wharf should be located in the south of Liushui and in the middle of Longwan dike. Later, there were more ships and they gradually moved to yangongxi, so Longwan prospered. In order to protect the river embankment, Longwan people have done two major things: one is to build a strong Longwan embankment and plant famous trees. The ancient trees of Longwan embankment, which are half a mile long and tens of meters wide, are tall and straight and block out the sun. The main tree species are fragrant trees, Liquidambar formosana, Liquidambar formosana, elm, oak, etc. among them, the thickest trees are camphor and Liquidambar formosana. One camphor is 25 meters high and the other is 32 meters high. Most of the trees are 500-700 years old. Although they are very old, after the completion of Longwan Water Turbine Pumping Station, a large Pinghu Lake is formed at the confluence of the two rivers. The water of the lake reflects the green trees. In addition to the distant mountains and near houses, it forms a dynamic and static ink painting with alternating shade. Shuanglong Village, on the other side of Longwan River, is a tofu village with concentrated processing of dried tofu in five cities. The top of Shuikou Miaoling is an 8 mu ancient pine forest with nearly 100 years old trees. The Shuikou forest of Longwan Changdi is far away from the Shuikou forest of shuanglongmiaoling. Second, an inverted canal was built. The water at the foot of the street and at the foot of the street flowed southward along the canal and flowed into the upstream of yangongxi wharf, also to protect the river embankment.
