brief introduction
The green shadow wall of xiangwangfu is located in the Wangfu Lane in the South East corner of Xiangyang City. It is the Zhaobi in front of the gate of Xiangyang palace in Ming Dynasty. It was built around the fifth year of Zhengtong (1440). At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the palace was destroyed by fire and the wall survived. The wall is 26.2 meters in length, 7.6 meters in height and 1.6 meters in thickness. It is a large-scale stone sculpture with imitation wood structure, mainly made of ettringite and alternating with white marble columns and beams. There is xumizuo at the bottom and the top of the veranda hall at the top. The facade is divided into three parts by four white marble pillars, just like three large parallel picture screens. The middle screen is slightly higher. It is a huge relief of two dragons playing with pearls. It has the potential of swallowing clouds and puffing mist and overturning the sea and river. 99 dragons are carved on the white marble frame with different postures. The left and right screens are slightly lower, each carving a giant dragon dancing in the sea of clouds, which is difficult to distinguish between the sea and the sky; the Han white jade frame of the two screens each carving 14 flying dragons, wandering back and forth, as if guarding the mighty dragon. The whole wall decoration is well arranged, with clear primary and secondary, dynamic and static combination, rich and simple. In terms of carving skills, it integrates round carving, relief carving and flat carving, which is bold and unconstrained, delicate and exquisite, and has high historical and artistic value.
The green shadow wall of Xiangwang mansion is located in the southeast corner of Xiangyang City, Xiangfan City. It is made of green stone, so it is named. In the first year of the Ming Dynasty (1436), King Xiang came to visit the pagoda and moved it from Changsha to Shiyi to build a palace. This wall is the Zhaobi in front of the palace. In 1641, Chongzhen's palace was completely destroyed, but Zhaobi has been preserved to this day. The green shadow wall is 7.6 meters high, 26.2 meters wide and 1.6 meters thick. It is an imitation wood structure with a width of 3 rooms and is all bordered with white marble. In the middle is engraved with "two dragons playing with pearls", and in the left and right are carved giant dragons flying between "Flowing Clouds in the sea". There are 64 dragons carved on the border, with different postures. The screen wall is one of the precious works of art in stone carving, with its solemn shape, gorgeous carving, bold and unconstrained style, vivid and majestic. On the former site of the palace, the gate and main hall of the palace have been built, displaying cultural relics unearthed from Xiangfan City and its counties.
Landscape introduction
At the east end of the green shadow wall Lane in the south of Xiangyang City, there is a large colored stone wall. Because the wall is made of green mud alunite carved Yunlong and sea water, it is called "green shadow wall". In ancient China, there was a wall facing the gate in the private houses of the nobles. The wall built outside the gate was called Zhaobi, and the wall built inside the gate was called Yingbi. The green shadow wall was originally built by Zhu Zhanshan, the king of Xiangyang in the Ming Dynasty, in front of the gate of the mansion. It should have been called the green shadow wall. Because the mansion of Xiangyang in the Ming Dynasty no longer exists, there is no difference between the inside and outside of the gate. Only Xiangyang people used to call it the green shadow wall, so it is still used today. Green screen wall is one of the four existing screen walls in China, and it is also a unique one. The green shadow wall is composed of base, wall body and wall top. The wall body faces north, with a total length of 62.2 meters, a height of 7.6 meters and a thickness of 1.6 meters. It is inlaid with 62 pieces of alum. The wall is divided into three blocks, slightly higher in the middle, two dragons playing with pearls in relief, slightly lower on the left and right, each carving a giant dragon dancing in the clouds and playing in the water, forming a group of perfect patterns. The border is finely carved with 95 little dragons flying in the clouds, each with a look, flying in the clouds, echoing and lifelike. A bead of fire in the middle of the four dragons fighting for play is extremely exquisite. The exquisite architecture is the only one in China. It has been preserved for more than 560 years and is basically intact. It is the best preserved stone carving wall in China. The green shadow wall is not only an amazing work of art, but also an interesting story. It turned out that there was a pearl in the middle of the wall, guarded by ninety-nine dragons. Ordinary people are not accessible. At that time, there was a saying: "a hundred heads and a thousand loads of firewood can take down the jewels." After hearing this, a firewood chopper outside the city thought I was a firewood chopper. It's no problem to get a thousand loads of firewood, but where can I get a hundred? One day, a funeral procession passed by the side of the mountain. Xiaozi followed behind the coffin and kowtowed a few steps. The firewood chopper got the way to get the treasure from Xiaozi's kowtow. A few days later, the firewood chopper picked a load of firewood to the green shadow wall. When he saw that there was no one around, he lit the "firewood chopper". Lying on the ground, he knocked a hundred heads at the green shadow wall. The ninety-nine dragons on the wall were so blinded by the smoke that when he saw the "hundred heads", they all came to accept the "gift" and forgot to guard the jewel. The firewood chopper took the opportunity to take it away. After two loads of firewood were burned, the ninety-nine dragons opened their eyes and saw that the jewels were gone. They were all silly and angry. Later, people could only see the 99 dragons on the green shadow wall. The place where the jewels were inlaid in the middle of the wall was always a big hole. Although the jewel has been stolen, it is still perfect. All visitors who have watched the green screen wall are impressed by the uncanny craftsmanship of the ancient sculptors and the wonderful knife technique! It is understood that the green shadow wall of Xiangyang palace is located in the ancient city of Xiangyang, Xiangfan City, Hubei Province. It was built around 1440. It is one of the four existing dragon walls in China and is also a key cultural relic protection unit in China. The main picture is composed of 62 pieces of green mud schist, which is unique in China. Because the polluted atmosphere is dissolved into acid rain in case of rain, it interacts with stone for a long time. The ridge, wall and xumizuo of the green shadow wall are constantly eroded and cracked by the acid rain. In addition, the underground water through the stone capillary brings the underground soluble salt into the space of the stone, forms crystals in the space of the stone surface, and dissolves when it meets with water, resulting in the cracking, falling off and breaking of the green mud schist stone. At present, the inclination of the east wall to the south is increased, about 4 ° 8 ', which is close to the inclination of 5 ° 6' of Pisa Tower in Italy. The whole green shadow wall is inclined and twisted, and the State Administration of cultural relics has approved the righting and lifting of the national treasure. According to the plan approved by the state, the whole project needs at least 180 days.
