Tourism characteristics
Lotus, called Lotus by Buddhists, is a symbol of holiness and purity. Buddhism calls the paradise "Lotus state" and believes that the local people always live in lotus. It is believed that all living beings have "Buddha nature". They are only troubled by the troubles of life and death, but do not radiate their own Buddha nature. Therefore, they are still trapped in the mud of the troubles of life and death. Lotus is "out of the mud but not dyed, with clear ripples but not demon", so Buddhism uses lotus to compare "Buddha nature". Meng Haoran, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, wrote a poem in the attached middle school of the righteous Duke of Dayu Temple: "only when you look at the lotus, you can see that it does not stain your heart.". Guanyin Bodhisattva is the "master of Lotus" who purses all living beings to the lotus state. Therefore, haiyinchi is naturally connected with Guanyin Bodhisattva. When appreciating the landscape of Lianchi, the literati of past dynasties often combined the description of the landscape with their understanding of Buddhism.
