Hori Temple

He Ri temple is also called "Che Geng Temple" and "Che Geng Er Temple". In Tibetan, "He Ri Gong te que zhaxilin" means "He Ri Miao ride on auspicious island". The temple is a Ningma temple, and in its early years it was a tent temple. There is a statue of master lianhuazi, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, in the Sutra Hall of the temple. At the back of the temple, on the hillside, which is more than 3500 meters above sea level, there is a stone Scripture wall known as the world's "Stone Book wonder". The heri stone Scripture wall is the largest group of carved stones found so far in China. From 1923 to 1951, the inscriptions and Buddha statues on the wall were completed by monks and folk artists for 28 years. The living artists still teach the technology of Shijing. It was discovered by the provincial archaeological team in 1982 and listed as the fourth batch of cultural relics protection units at the provincial level in 1984. From 2004 to 2005, Mr. Shu Aiwen, former Swiss ambassador to China, donated money for maintenance and restoration. The stone Scripture wall is 3 meters wide and 200 meters long. It is made of stone pieces with scriptures and patterns. The stone pieces are about 3000 cubic meters, and the number of words is about 2 billion. There are more than 5000 stone carvings of Buddha statues, patterns, customs and figures.

Hori Temple

It is also called "chegeng Temple" and "chegenger Temple". In Tibetan, it is called "horigong tezaxilin", which means "horigong ride on auspicious island". It is located 90 kilometers northwest of the county and 2 kilometers south of the seat of today's heri township government. The temple is a Ningma temple, and in its early years it was a tent temple.

Around the 11th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1831), Deqin zhuodo, the first living Buddha of the temple, built the tulang temple in ningxiu wojieerdun mountain with the support of angqin, the head of the hori tribe.

Since then, the second derdon mupangarvarozhe (born in 1862) expanded the Sutra hall, erected Buddha statues, painted murals, and established the system of ZHACANG and preaching. The temple has a great development, with more than 300 monks.

During the period of the third deirdun Jinmei Sanghe Danzeng (also known as Jinmei SANGJIE Danzeng, born in 1893), due to the difficulty in drinking water and being robbed, the temple was moved to its present site.

The fourth derton · Jinmei Esai, born in 1935 in longwuzhuang, Tongren, is now the vice chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of Zeku County.

According to the statistics of the United Front Work Department of Zeku County Party committee in 1955, at that time, there were two 34 Buddhist halls, 312 monasteries, two pagodas, and more than 120 monks living in the temple, including the pagoda, a total of 340 people in 104 households (150 men and 190 women), 112 horses, 786 cattle and 2073 sheep.

In addition to delduncang, there are dezhongcai Lang (born in 1943, nephew of wajiajia, head of hurihongke tribe), Jinmei suonan (1920-1958, brother of dezhongcai Lang, former vice chairman of Huangnan CPPCC), luojiacang (born in 1913-1958, hurihongke tribe), wanmachang (born in 1929, hurihongke tribe, now in custody of Batan Ranch), and shenbazhugucang (1938) Born in 1931, he is a member of the horiracang tribe and now lives in the temple.

The temple was demolished in 1958, and 15 of them were rebuilt after being approved for opening in 1981, including one angqian building, nine of them, 15 monasteries and 45 monasteries. The temple incense mainly comes from the four tribes of yuanheli, which are distributed in Heli and ningxiu.

The Tibetan Opera and stone Scripture wall of Heli temple are famous. The most famous Tibetan Opera is Songzanganbu. The stone Scripture wall is 3 meters high and more than 200 meters long, all of which are made of stone slabs engraved with scriptures.

The main contents of the Scriptures are "Ganzhuer", "danzhuer" and "dabanruojing", about 200 million words. There are more than 2000 Buddhist statues, patterns, Buddhist story paintings, etc. engraved on the Sutra stone. The font is clear and neat, and the painting is exquisite and stretching. All of them are rare stone works of art, known as "the wonder of stone calligraphy in the world".

The carving of the stone scriptures started in the 1930s under the leadership of the living Buddhas of derton and luojiacang. It was carved by monks and hired artists outside the temple. It is said that an average of 50 people worked every day for 20 years. The stone Sutra wall was damaged in 1958 and during the "Cultural Revolution". In recent years, it has been restored to its original appearance after restoration.
