architectural composition
Ningbo's profound historical and cultural heritage and open ocean character, together with its humanistic and geographical characteristics, have created Ningbo Gang, a traditional and innovative group, whose architectural design concept fully highlights this cultural character.
Ningbo Bang museum is located in the middle section of the green landscape belt along the regional axis. The main building complex is a "Yong" shaped structure. The glass corridor, combined with the "time corridor" of Shuijie Changting, runs through the whole building complex from north to south. The "corridor" overlaps with the regional axis and forms a public activity space.
The scheme is designed by the architectural design and Research Institute of South China University of technology.
Development history
As a museum of urban humanities, it systematically displays the glorious epics of the formation, development and prosperity of Ningbo Gang from the end of Ming Dynasty to the present, taking the time as the context, historical facts as the clue, characters as the highlight and rich display means as the carrier, so as to promote the financial and intellectual culture and the feelings of mulberry trees of Ningbo Gang, and create the "emotional landmark and spiritual home" of Ningbo Gang all over the world .
Dr. Sun Yat Sen once commented: "Ningbo people have rich experience in the management of industry and commerce. All the ports in our country have Ningbo People's business. That is to say, all the European countries have Ningbo businessmen's footprints, and their ability and influence are second to none."
What kind of group is "Ningbo Gang"? If they want to sketch, they are generally like this: they are alert, sensitive and open-minded; they are brave in taking risks, but they are more good at taking risks; they are diligent and thrifty, and they don't make things public and talk about nothing; they have the open-minded idea of embracing all rivers, the pioneering spirit of not being willing to stay behind, and the childlike feelings of not forgetting their roots.
On June 8, 2007, Ningbo Gang Museum laid its foundation in Zhenhai, one of the birthplaces of Ningbo Gang.
,
On October 22, 2009, the opening ceremony of Ningbo Bang museum was held, and Ningbo people all over the world finally have their own "emotional landmark and spiritual home".
