Chen's general temple
Chen's general feeding, located in Chenji village, Chenji Township, Gushi County, Henan Province, was the ancestral hall of Chen Yuanguang, the "king of Kaizhang" in Zhangzhou. The general temple was built by Chen Chuan, the grandson of Chen Yuanguang, in the Tianbao period of Tang Dynasty. It has been renovated in the past dynasties and is now a Qing Dynasty building. The ancestral hall of Chen's general is 25 kilometers away from Gushi County. It is now a national cultural relic protection unit and an AAA scenic spot. Every year, tens of thousands of relatives at home and abroad go to this place to find their roots.

Facing qingguangfeng, Jiangjun temple covers an area of 5081 square meters, with nearly 100 original rooms and 31 existing rooms, covering an area of 740 square meters. The green water in front of the gate is called "crescent pond". The overall building is a quadrangle courtyard, which is divided into gatehouse, left and right ear room, back hall, left and right wing room and accessory room. The whole building is a hard mountain brick and wood structure, stone foundation, stone column, green to gray tile, hall with corridor, wood frame structure. The layout of jiangjunsi building is rigorous, the main building of the central axis is prominent, the structure is complete, and attention is paid to detail. Both indoor and outdoor are stone lions at the lower part of the carnation column. The stone elephant is exquisite in workmanship and image, with strong local color. Historical records
In the early Tang Dynasty, the "wild tusks roaring in chaos" between Quanzhou and Chaozhou did not obey the control of the imperial court. In the second year of Tang Zongzhang (669 AD), Emperor Gaozong ordered General Chen Zheng (Chen Yuanguang's father) to be the chief executive of Lingnan. He led 3600 soldiers and 123 soldiers, with a total of 45 surnames. The first group of soldiers set out from the Central Plains, went south along the Grand Canal, passed through Pucheng, Zhejiang Province, entered Fujian, went down the Minjiang River, and reached the intersection of Fujian and Guangdong. He asked for help because he was blocked. The next year, the imperial court continued to send Chen Zheng's second brother (Zhonglang general min and Youlang general Fu) to lead the army to reinforce them. They fell ill on the way. His mother, Wei Jing, led the long march south to join his Jizi Chen Zheng, and Zhang Yu entered the Yunxiao camp. Chen Yuanguang came to Fujian with his grandmother this time. Chen Yuanguang (657-711 A.D.), known as Tingju and Longhu, was born in Gushi, Guangzhou, Henan Province. He studied literature and martial arts since he was a child. He was very intelligent. At the age of 13, he was the first to be recommended in his hometown. In order to quell the "wild tusks howling chaos", young Chen Yuanguang started his military career with his father. After the death of his father in 677, Chen Yuanguang led the army from Jiulongshan to Chaozhou. After more than 100 wars, he set up farms and built houses to "develop agriculture, water conservancy and education". In 686 ad, the imperial court approved Chen Yuanguang's proposal to establish Zhangzhou in Southern Fujian, and appointed Chen Yuanguang as the first governor of Zhangzhou. Zhangzhou civilization began from then on. In the second year of Jingyun (711 A.D.), on the fifth day of October, General Chen Yuanguang heard of the police on his way out and led a light horse to fight against him. He was killed by a thief in the war. He was 55 years old and was buried in dazhiyuan.
Chen's general temple, built by Chen Feng, the grandson of Chen Yuanguang in the reign of Tang Yuanbao, covers an area of 5081 square meters, with nearly 100 original houses and 31 existing houses, covering an area of 740 square meters. The general temple faces the floating light peak, with a clear water in front of the gate. It is a courtyard with four parts: the front court, the back hall, the East and West ear rooms, and the left and right side halls. The whole building is composed of stone base, stone column, green brick and gray tile, main hall, ear room, auxiliary hall and corridor, which is composed of stone steps and stone columns. The stone lion and the stone elephant stand up. There are relief patterns on the back of the lion elephant. The base of the column is square. It is carved with famous flowers of ancient human figures. The foundation stone is integrated with the column. The main hall, the East and West ear rooms, and the East and west side halls are made of Dou Zi Liang, square stone columns, and vermilion lacquer wood lattice doors and windows. The whole building shows the majesty of the military tent style and the majesty of the general and military guard. In 1987 and 1994, the county and township governments successively invested 280000 yuan to repair the general temple, and the whole building is now well preserved.
