development history
In the second phase of Shimen Temple project, the restored motie nunnery is particularly attractive. The statues of ruozhen's reading in his youth and his calligraphy and painting works are hung on the walls of the nunnery; the artistic conception of poetry and painting is far-reaching and fascinating. Farozhen (1608-1691), a Han Confucian, was born in Shangzhuang, Baoshan Town, Jiaonan City. He was a legendary historical celebrity. When he was four years old, he could ask questions and argue when the scholars talked about the University. When he was young, he lived in seclusion in Shimen Temple of DAZHUSHAN. He was angry about reading and enjoyed practicing calligraphy and painting. He wrote the title of "Mo tie an" for the temple where he lived and studied. In the second year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, the Ministry of rites abolished the examination of five classics. If FA really didn't know, he still wrote 20 articles on five classics. The examiners found that the articles were wonderful and recommended them to the emperor. From this, farozhen was appointed as the inner Hanlin. After that, he successively held the posts of Zhongshu Sheren, Hanlin academy editor, Fujian Wuzi examination officer, Secretary academy assistant reader, Zhejiang Provincial History inspector, Jiangnan Anhui political history editor, etc. He is good at calligraphy and painting, and his works are included in selected Chinese paintings handed down from generation to generation. Shimen temple is located at the foot of Dazhu mountain, 8 kilometers south of Jiaonan City. According to local records, it was built in the fifth year of jindading (A.D. 1166). It was damaged several times in the early and middle of the 20th century. In 1995, the first phase of the restoration project of the courtyard wall and the main hall was completed.
