Dong Cunrui martyr cemetery in Longhua County. The cemetery is located at the foot of Taishan in the northwest of Longhua County, on the East Bank of the Ethan River, 60 kilometers north of Chengde, an excellent tourist city in China. It was built in 1954 and expanded several times. Now it covers an area of 71000 square meters. The cemetery is an antique building with national style and distinctive characteristics of the times. The plane layout is axial symmetry. Sitting in the north and in the south, there are gate, archway, statue of Dong Cunrui, monument of Dong Cunrui and Tomb of Dong Cunrui. On the banner in the middle of the gate is the name of martyr Dong Cunrui cemetery inscribed by General Xiao Ke. On both sides of the archway are the stele Pavilion of martyr Dong Cunrui and the stele Pavilion of revolutionary martyrs, as well as two memorial halls of martyr Dong Cunrui and revolutionary martyrs. At the intersection of the two diagonals between the pavilion and the museum is the statue of martyr Dong Cunrui surrounded by Cuibai. Dressed in military uniform, the hero holds his head high, holds the explosive bag high in his left hand, and holds the fuse tightly in his right hand, which shows Dong Cunrui's heroic spirit of looking back at death. In the center of the oval Memorial square stands the towering monument of martyr Dong Cunrui. On the heart stone inlaid with white marble on the front of the stele is engraved with eight gold characters of Marshal Zhu De's autograph "sacrifice one's life for the country, forever". At the top of the front of the monument is a shining pentagonal Venus, which symbolizes that the revolutionary spirit of the hero coexists with mountains and rivers and will shine on future generations forever. It is the only way for Chengde Mountain Resort Royal tourism and Weichang Bashang grassland tourism. Longhua is rich in tourism resources. In addition to the national famous martyr Dong Cunrui cemetery, which is a red tourism theme scenic spot, there are also abundant green tourism resources such as Maojingba Forest Park, Qijia hot spring and Guojiatun hot spring, zhangsanying agricultural ecological science and technology sightseeing park. On October 15, 1929, Dong Cunrui was born into a poor peasant family in nanshanbao village, Huailai County, former Chahar province (now Hebei Province). His childhood was spent in the life and death of the Chinese nation when Japanese imperialism launched the war of aggression against China. In the winter of 1940, the Eighth Route Army established an anti Japanese democratic regime in nanshanbao. Dong Cunrui was elected as the head of the children's regiment. He stood guard, posted sentries and sent chicken feather letters. Later, he became a militia and actively participated in the Anti Japanese and national salvation struggle. In August 1945, at the age of 16, Dong Cunrui joined the Eighth Route Army and grew up in the training of the party and the tempering of the war. He served successively as a soldier, deputy monitor and monitor. In 1947, he joined the Communist Party of China and became a pioneer soldier of the proletariat. He fought bravely in the north and the south, and made outstanding achievements. He won three major and four minor meritorious deeds, and won one Mao Zedong medal and three bravery medals. In 1948, at the critical moment of the battle in Longhua, Dong Cunrui gave his life at the age of 19. Martyr Dong Cunrui cemetery is located at the foot of Taishan Mountain in the northwest of Longhua County, Hebei Province, on the East Bank of the Ethan river. After several large-scale expansion, it now covers an area of 91600 square meters, which is the largest cemetery named after martyrs in China. There are 13 main buildings in the park, including memorial archway, monument to martyrs, statue of martyr Dong Cunrui, Tomb of martyrs, memorial hall and forest of steles. In January 2017, the national development and Reform Commission released the list of national Red Tourism classic scenic spots, and Dong Cunrui martyr cemetery was selected.

Memorial archway
The memorial archway was built in 1961, which is an early building of the martyrs' cemetery. Its form is imitating the memorial archway of the martyrs' cemetery of the Chinese people's Volunteer Army in Korea. The building is 7.5 meters high. The archway borrows the six Golden characters "long live the martyrs" inscribed by Chairman Mao Zedong for the monument of revolutionary martyrs in Yuhuatai, Nanjing, which symbolizes the coexistence of revolutionary spirit and mountains and rivers.
Memorial Pavilion
On the East and West axis of the cemetery, there are two corner pavilions. Dongting is Dong Cunrui's memorial Pavilion, which was built in 1961. Its appearance and internal structure are imitations of the memorial Pavilion of the Korean people's Volunteer Army martyrs' cemetery. The monument in the middle of the pavilion is made of reinforced concrete and decorated with white terrazzo. On the front is engraved with nine gold stickers: "martyr Dong Cunrui will live forever." on the back, the Secretary in red script describes martyr Dong Cunrui's heroic deeds. On the opposite side, the West Pavilion is a memorial Pavilion for revolutionary martyrs, with the same structure as the East Pavilion Big words.

At the intersection of the two diagonals between the pavilion and the museum is the statue of martyr Dong Cunrui surrounded by Cuibai. The hero wears a military uniform, holds his head high, holds a high explosive bag in his left hand, and clenches his fist in his right hand, which shows Dong Cunrui's heroic spirit of looking down upon death.
Sacrifice address
Dong Cunrui's sacrificial site was built in 2003. The sacrificial site is protected by iron railings. The length of the wall is 38.4 meters from north to South and 37.2 meters from east to west. There is a control belt 9 meters long and 4.8 meters wide leading to the South Road. Granite and marble decorated the front door. Entering the courtyard, three marbles on the inner wall of the left front door engraved with "brief introduction of martyr Dong Cunrui's sacrifice address". There are broken walls, a corner of the former Longhua middle school with blue brick concrete structure and six gun holes in the courtyard, showing the scene of Kuomintang troops seizing the student classroom as a fortification. The classroom to the bridgehead and the extended trench are made of cement imitation clay, with a depth of 1.4 meters, a width of 2.5 meters at the top and a width of 1.3 meters at the bottom. The first traffic trench is 13.2 meters long, and the extended traffic trench is 11 meters long. There are two Kuomintang party emblems in the middle of the bridgehead, with four bullet holes in the front and back. In the center of the courtyard is a square with an area of 64 square meters and a subsidence of 0.8 meters. The square is 7.27x12 meters oval in shape. There are three steps in the East, West and south sides respectively. In the middle lies a 2.2x1.3 meter large stone weighing about 5 tons, engraved with nine characters: "address of Dong Cunrui's heroic sacrifice". Down three steps from the north side of the sunken square to the bottom of the bridge type castle, four thick pine trees made of cement are used to lift a 3.4m wide and 2.2m high bridge on the 15.2m dry river. This is the imitation of the bridge type castle that Dong Cunrui blew up.

Built in 1957, the monument is 14.5 meters high, the pedestal is 1.4 meters long, 0.75 meters wide and 0.85 meters high. The body is 3 meters long, 1 meter wide and 0.35 meters thick. The cap is 1.3 meters long, 0.65 meters wide and 0.66 meters high. It covers an area of 360 square meters. The pedestal and the body of the monument are decorated with gray green artificial marble. The steps and the wall are made of natural stone. There are 28 watchposts decorated with artificial marble on the pedestal. Between the watchposts are guardrails formed by two iron pipes. The top of the body of the monument is a five pointed star made of copper and gilded. Four watchposts with a total length of 6.6 meters are connected with Beijing Tian'an On the white marble of the "monument to the people's Heroes" in the gate square, eight gold-plated characters are engraved with the inscription of Marshal Zhu De for martyr Dong Cunrui: "sacrifice one's life for the country, forever". The monument to martyr Dong Cunrui was expanded in 1987, covering an area of 440 square meters. On the basis of retaining the original shape, the height of the monument is increased by 1 meter. At the same time, in order to change the overall outline of the monument, the platform is polygonal, surrounded by 40 groups of railings on four sides. The double-layer white marble railings are composed of doubai stone watchposts, railings, Baogu and Difu in Quyang, Hebei Province Lotus patterns and other decorations. The base of the stele is paved with black and white granite, the body of the stele is made of pink granite, and the top of the stele is inlaid with a five pointed star with a diameter of 0.6 meters. The total height of the monument is 15.5 meters. The base of the first floor is 22 meters wide, and the base of the second floor is 12 meters wide. The bottom of the monument is 3.1 meters wide, the top is 1 meter wide, and the bottom is 2 meters thick.
Martyrs Memorial
Founded in 1961, with a construction area of 150 square meters, the pavilion is a brick house with single eaves and five ridges, covered with red tiles, with a total height of 7.5 meters, a surface width of 21.5 meters and a depth of 7 meters. There is a colonnade in front of the door, with four 3.6-meter-high square columns, and a 3-meter-high western style mountain character upper eaves. In the middle of the upper eaves are seven gold characters of "Memorial Hall of the martyrs of Cunrui". In 1992, Dong Cunrui memorial hall was rebuilt on the former site of revolutionary martyrs memorial hall, with a construction area of 688.5 square meters. This 30 meter long, 15.4 meter high antique building was designed by Zhang Yongpeng and designed by Yi shoubin, director of the design office of Longhua County Urban Construction Bureau.
