Hongsheng Park
Hongsheng is a sea god believed by Chinese people. Hongsheng park is a Ming Dynasty building, located in Guangdong Province. Originally, it was the temple of Queen of heaven. Because the tides are surrounded by the sea, in order to ensure the safety of the sea, the villagers set up a temple to worship empress of Queen of heaven. Later, it was renamed Hongsheng hall. In 1984, it was expanded into a park, and now there are some historic sites such as Hongsheng hall, Cimu Pavilion, siyanjing, etc. On Tianhou's birthday, there are many tourists who come to worship.

Hongsheng park is located in the north of ChaoLian Town, adjacent to Xijiang River. The park was expanded from the original Hongsheng hall in 1984. With an area of more than 15000 square meters, the park has elegant design and beautiful appearance. The artificial lake has a vast surface. The pavilions in the center of the lake connect the two banks. The railings, the winding paths, the weeping willows on the bank, the peach blossoms and the plum blossoms, the pavilions and pavilions form an interesting contrast. The ancient trees are evergreen, the grass is green, and the garden is full of flowers. The main historical scenic spots in the park are Hongsheng hall, Cimu Pavilion, siyanjing, etc.
Hongsheng Temple
Hongsheng temple, commonly known as Dawang temple, was granted the title of "Hongsheng Guangli Zhaoming Dragon King". The temple is located at the foot of Fugang mountain, facing the Xijiang River. It is majestic and famous for its gods and anecdotes.
The temple was first built in the 28th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1600). It is a building with two entrances and three couplets, integrating brick carving, gray carving, wood carving and ancient carving. In the long river of history, it has been rebuilt after many weathered and frost. Because of its unique architecture, it also represents the essence of folk art. After investigation and appraisal by relevant scholars, it is considered that the temple has research value and was designated as the key cultural relics protection unit of Jiangmen City in 1998.
The origin of Hongsheng temple and the statue of Hongsheng Dragon King
According to the records of ChaoLian Township, during the 13th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, beixianglu of ChaoLian was appointed as the county magistrate of Mengcheng in Anhui Province. He was honest, diligent and loved the people. He was filial to his mother, and his mother's illness made him very effective, After hearing the king's spirit, he asked the God to help him to prescribe medicine. His mother's illness gradually recovered and she felt the God. When she left her job, she asked him to return home to worship. Lu went to the temple and divined. He got the God's consent. He carved a new statue to release the original temple and carried the old one back home. The boat was like an arrow. Soon he returned to ChaoLian and carried the statue to choose the temple site. When he carried the statue to Tianhou Temple by the sea, the statue suddenly picked up and did not move. Divination learned that God intended to build the temple Temple, divination, ask empress, promise. So Lu and the squire decided to rebuild the temple of heaven after heaven into the Hongsheng hall. After the completion of Hongsheng temple, the statue of Hongsheng Dragon King is in the center, with empress dowager on the left and Governor Wang on the right.
