Shell Beach

Shell beach is the longest beach scenic spot along the coastline of Weizhou Island. It starts from the east coast of Weizhou Island and ends at the beach where Lanqiao wharf is located. The only road around the island runs through the seashell beach from the wharf from north to East, and you can walk into the seashell beach from the road around the island. There are three viewing platforms (with road signs) along the seashell beach, with different views.

Into the shell beach, the sand on the beach is very beautiful and soft. It is suitable for swimming, diving and shellfish picking. The east area of shell beach is the best place to watch the sunrise (the sun rises from the middle of the sea), and the beach area near the blue bridge Wharf in the Northwest can see the sunset.

Traffic information: 1.8 km (north end) - 6 km (East End) from the wharf, 6-15 minutes by car (island charter tour around the island generally does not include going to shell beach, charter need to make it clear with the driver that there is a need to swim shell beach alone. The best way is to rent a battery car and ride on the seashell beach
