Dongshuimen Yangtse River Bridge is a river crossing channel connecting Yuzhong District and Nan'an District in Chongqing, China. It is a dual-purpose bridge for public and rail. It is an important express channel and a landmark urban landscape in Chongqing. Together with qiansimen Jialing River Bridge, it is called "Chongqing two river bridge".
Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge was built on December 29, 2009, completed closure in February 2013, passed completion acceptance on March 26, 2014, and opened to traffic on March 31, 2014.
Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge starts from Datong Street, xiaoshizi, Yuzhong District in the north, crosses the Yangtze River Waterway in the north and ends at Tushan Road, Shangxin street, Nan'an District in the south. The total length of the line is 1124 meters, and the total length of the main bridge is about 858 meters. Historical evolution

On April 30, 2011, the construction of the bridge was officially started except for the foundation of the cable tower. On June 22, the first section of cable tower concrete of dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge was poured.
On May 18, 2012, the erection of the steel beam of the bridge officially started; on December 1, the main tower of the bridge was successfully capped, and the construction was fully transferred to the superstructure installation.
On February 4, 2013, the last steel beam of the bridge was hoisted in place, marking the formal closure of the main body of the bridge.
On January 26, 2014, the bridge load test was completed; on March 15, 2014, the bridge marking project was completed, marking the completion of the whole bridge; on March 19, the bridge passed the completion pre acceptance; on March 25, the bridge passed the expert acceptance; on March 26, the bridge passed the completion acceptance, reaching the traffic conditions; on March 31, the bridge was officially opened to traffic.

The north end of dongshuimen Yangtze River bridge crosses from the north side of Huguang guild hall in Yuzhong District and connects with Datong Street. The south end of dongshuimen Yangtze River bridge crosses from near the line Office of Longmen Hao Power Supply Bureau in Nan'an District and connects with Tushan Road, and extends to Nanshan interchange of Inner Ring Expressway through the ramp at Qiaotou.

Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge is a double tower single cable plane steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge. The main tower adopts the spatial curved surface structure form, and the outer contour (tower column) is the round shape of Tisuo, which has an original landscape effect.
In order to make the urban landscape transparent, the dongshuimen bridge is also designed with a high "navigation clearance", and the 10000 ton fleet on the Yangtze River can pass under the bridge.
