Chaoyang North Tower Museum is a Buddhist culture museum based on the national key cultural relics protection unit Chaoyang North Tower. It is located in the North Tower Square on the north side of Murong street, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, with a construction area of 2300 square meters and an exhibition area of 2000 square meters. Chaoyang North Tower Museum is located on the North Tower Square at the north end of Murong street. Development history

Basic Display

The exhibition of cultural relics in the museum consists of four parts. The first one is the preface hall of the ground exhibition area, the picture exhibition of Chinese famous pagoda and Chaoyang ancient pagoda; the second one is the sand table of Siyan Buddha picture of the Northern Wei Dynasty, the cultural relic exhibition of "five generations in the same hall" of the northern pagoda, the fine cultural relic exhibition of the northern pagoda and the stone carving cultural relic exhibition of the northern Pagoda in the underground exhibition area; the third one is the special exhibition of light of Buddha, mainly including the special exhibition of Buddha's relic offering and relic exploration; the fourth one is the exhibition area of the northern pagoda, mainly including the historical painting exhibition of the northern pagoda and the northern pagoda stone carving cultural reli The exhibition of pagoda historical relics, brick carving art, etc.

At home and abroad, although there are only a few hundred cultural relics on display in the North Tower Museum, all of them are priceless in history, science and art. Many cultural relics, such as the seven pagodas and Persian glass bottles, are among the best in the province, in the country and even in the world. In recent years, with the increasing popularity of our city at home and abroad, Beita Museum has become an important window for Chaoyang to open to the outside world. Through the museum, visitors can learn about the profound and long culture and history of Yandu Longcheng. In order to better publicize Chaoyang's history and culture, Beita museum decided to re display the cultural relics in the museum in early 2009. After scientific and reasonable planning and classification, the North Tower Museum has set up a new exhibition.

According to reports, after the new exhibition, a new "Encyclopedia of ancient pagodas" exhibition area, multiple sets of multimedia demonstrators, projection equipment, etc. will be added to the ground exhibition area of the North Tower Museum. Compared with the original picture exhibition of Chinese famous pagodas and Chaoyang ancient pagodas, the exhibition area of "Encyclopedia of ancient pagodas" is more detailed and detailed. It lists the most representative pictures of ancient pagodas in China one by one, and analyzes them with words. There are even precious pictures of LingXiao Pagoda in Fenghuang Mountain Temple. In order to let visitors have a more intuitive understanding of Chaoyang, Beita Museum, under the guidance of experts from the Provincial Institute of archaeology, according to the historical materials and archaeological discoveries in recent years, remade the "sand table of Chaoyang City in the late Qing Dynasty" and "sand table of sanyanlong city". Here visitors can see the glorious years of Gulong city.

The underground exhibition hall, the North Tower Museum is also a new exhibition. For the convenience of visitors, the museum will display the cultural relics according to the time of excavation, mutual relationship and other conditions. For example, the seven pagodas of Liao Dynasty, the wooden fetal silver coffin and the golden relic pagoda will be displayed in a centralized way; the Persian glass bottle, the gilded gold and Silver Pagoda and the gold and silver Scripture pagoda will be displayed separately; all kinds of jade and brick carvings unearthed from the North pagoda will be classified and displayed, and the magnifier will be set in front of the fine jade to facilitate the tourists to watch carefully; the exhibition area of exploring the secrets of the relic will also add relevant content to make it more convenient More detailed.

What's more, for the first time, the North Tower Museum provides visitors with many sets of precious historical materials, such as the photos of Siyan Buddha pagoda base, the photos of North Tower heavenly palace, and the photos of North Tower heavenly palace. Seven pagodas

The Museum of Chaoyang North Tower in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province will display 10 relics of the North Tower, including the two Buddha relic and the seven pagoda, at the exhibition of Chinese Buddhist cultural relics held during the Second World Buddhist Forum. Chaoyang North Tower was built in Taihe period of Northern Wei Dynasty, which has a history of more than 1500 years. It is one of the earliest existing pagodas in Northeast China, with high historical, scientific and artistic value. Its "five generations in one hall" structure shows the epitome of Chaoyang history, and has become a landmark building in Chaoyang City.

According to reports, the North Tower Museum has a collection of more than 1600 pieces, most of which are precious cultural relics unearthed from the North Tower. The building area of the new hall is 2300 square meters. The exhibition hall is divided into two parts: the ground and the underground. On the ground, it is the preview hall with the theme of large forged bronze sculptures. The underground exhibition hall converged on the essence of the North Tower cultural relics, displaying the cultural relics unearthed from the North Tower.
