Baoding martyrs cemetery
Baoding martyrs cemetery is subordinate to Baoding Civil Affairs Bureau. It was built in 1957 and covers an area of 139660 square meters. 143 martyrs who died during the Anti Japanese War, the war of liberation and the socialist revolutionary construction were buried. 236 martyrs of Baoding nationality were engraved in the martyrs Pavilion, and 144 martyrs' ashes were stored in the ashes hall.
In 2009, it was named as the national key martyr memorial building protection unit by the State Council.
Major exhibitions
The main buildings in the park are: the gate of the cemetery, the memorial hall, the martyrs' tomb area, the martyrs' Memorial and the square, etc. The gate of the mausoleum faces south with a three hole archway structure. The building material is huoshaoyun marble, with a solemn and majestic appearance. The martyrs memorial square is opposite to the gate, and is connected by a north-south passage. On both sides of the road, the pines and cypresses are shady, the grass is green, and small marble pavilions are built to provide a resting place for the people who come to the memorial ceremony.

The Martyrs Monument stands in the center of the square. During the Qingming Festival, people from all walks of life will come to the memorial ceremony. On the east side of the martyrs memorial square is the martyrs' tomb area, where 143 martyrs are buried. The martyrs Pavilion is built in the center of the martyrs' tomb area, engraved with 236 martyrs' names. The stone tablet gallery is located on the west side of the martyr's tomb area, which is integrated with the martyr's tomb area.

On the west side of the martyr memorial square is the tomb area of martyr Xie Chen. The environment of the tomb area is quiet, tidy and solemn.
Memorial Hall
The former Memorial Hall on the north side of the martyrs memorial square was built in 1980. The structure is too simple and the facilities are very old, which can not meet the requirements of people from all walks of life who come to pay homage to the martyrs. In November 2009, the original memorial hall was rebuilt and expanded, and the project was completed in October 2010. The building area is 1741.24 square meters, with one floor above the ground. The net height of the ground is 2.6 meters, and the height of the interior is 6 meters. The exterior wall of the memorial hall is dry hung with light marble. The architectural style is solemn, simple and generous. As the memorial hall has just been completed, it needs a lot of material objects, photos and text introductions from the revolutionary period. It is in the stage of collection, and the memorial hall is not open to the public. The underground of the memorial hall is the ashes storage room, where there are many ashes of martyrs and retired cadres.
Revolutionary Memorial Hall
Baoding revolutionary memorial hall was originally built in 1980. It was rebuilt and expanded in 2009. After expansion, it covers an area of 1482 square meters, with a single floor and three halls. The exhibition is being organized by the Publicity Department of Baoding Municipal Party committee. It is estimated that the museum will open at the end of 2013, with a total investment of 11.4 million yuan in construction and exhibition arrangement. Relevant literature and history experts from Hebei University and Baoding college will be invited to form an expert group to be responsible for the compilation of exhibition arrangement outline.

Exhibition hall of Baoding Revolutionary Memorial Hall:
The exhibition hall is divided into seven units, with the revolutionary historical events in Baoding as the main line. The main technique of expression is pictures, accompanied by scene restoration, sand table, physical exhibits, audio-visual playback, etc.
The first and second units are based on the human history of ancient Baoding Region. There are scenes like the restoration of the gate of Baoding military academy, Mao Zedong and Cai Hesen's special trip to Baoding to visit Hunan Institute, the preparatory class of work study program in France.
The third and fourth units are the new democratic revolution and the agrarian revolution led by the Communist Party, including the famous Gaoli uprising.
The fifth and sixth units are the war of resistance against Japan and the war of liberation, focusing on the war of resistance against Japan. They show the story of Baoding's army and people fighting against the Japanese aggressors by means of tunnel warfare, land mine warfare, sparrow warfare and other means. They praise Yanling, Wang erxiao, Bethune and other heroes and models.
The seventh unit ends with the heroic figures and the construction of the new period after the liberation of Baoding.
Heroic deeds
Zhen Lin, a member of the Communist Party of China and a native of Lixian County, Hebei Province, joined the army in April 1938 and joined the Communist Party of China in October 1940. He successively held the posts of platoon commander, company commander, battalion commander, regimental commander, division commander and deputy chief of staff. During the war years, he worked hard, fought bravely, suffered serious injuries for many times and won meritorious service. He was an excellent Party member and model cadre of our party and army.
Zhao Yongqing, a party member, is from Xincheng County, Hebei Province. He began to work in June 1956 and joined the party in September of the same year. Before he died, he served as a secretary, deputy instructor and deputy political commissar of the armed forces ministry. He died on April 21, 1978.
Ni Yuchen, a party member, is from Zhucheng County, Shandong Province. He joined the army in December 1944 and the party in January 1946. Before he died, he successively served as section chief, section chief, President, deputy political commissar of the division, etc. He won the title of fighting hero three times and one time. He died on December 10, 1981.
Gao Quanshun, a member of the Communist Party of China and a native of Baoding City, served as a pilot in 39493 troops. He joined the army in September 1977 and served as a student and pilot successively. On November 25, 1981, during the flight training, the plane fell to the ground and died in order to rescue the plane because of the complicated situation.
