Rongguifang

Rongguifang, formerly known as "qilongma", was a place name of Guzhai Township, Tangkou District, Kaiping County before liberation. This small village, which has experienced a hundred years of history, is the epitome of the Chinese compatriots' concern for the motherland and their love for the motherland. LIANLI tree

Two evergreen Ficus microcarpa growing together near the gate of rongguifang village. Because about 3 meters above the ground, the branches of the two banyan trunks grow together, so it is called LIANLI tree.

"LIANLI tree" is a peculiar plant growth phenomenon, which is very rare in nature. It usually symbolizes the faithful and beautiful love of folklore. There is a saying in the ancient poem that "in the sky, I would like to be a winged bird, in the earth, I would like to be a LIANLI tree".

In rongguifang, the ancient banyan tree "LIANLI tree", which has been growing for nearly a hundred years, is more a reflection of the feelings of overseas Chinese and the heart of a child. Rongguifang village is most talked about. After the founding of new China, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the people's Republic of China chose to hold a national training course on posts and telecommunications.

In May 1964, the working group of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the people's Republic of China and Guangdong Post and telecommunications administration went to Kaiping office to formulate and revise various management systems, including post responsibility system, handover acceptance and shift system, production supervision and inspection system, production site management system, etc., so as to make each system more rigorous, clear and specific, and meet the standards set by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the people's Republic of China. With Tangkou post and Telecommunications Branch as the pilot, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the people's Republic of China and Guangdong Post and Telecommunications Administration held five two month enterprise management classes for directors of rural posts and Telecommunications Branch in rongguifang, Tangkou.

At that time, rongguifang Zilu, Bailu and maolinlu became the main places for classes. Zilu

In 1939, it was funded by Mr. Fang Ziwen, an overseas Chinese in the village. It covers an area of about 1 mu. It adopts the combined architectural style of low in front and high in back. The main building is five stories high and has a green brick concrete structure. It is magnificent and echoes with the "white building" and can be called the epoch-making "Diamond villa".

In May 1964, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the people's Republic of China and the Guangdong Post and Telecommunications Bureau held five two month post and Telecommunications Training Courses in rongguifang. As the main teaching and training place at that time, Zilu accomplished the important historical tasks with honor.

It is also known as "white building". In 1937, it was built by Mr. Fang lunchuang, a villager of our village. It was named because the exterior walls of the building were all white. The five storey white building is square and practical. It stands between the fields and green bamboo. From the top of the building, you can enjoy the scenery of the whole village and show the style of the mansion.

After the completion of the white building, the owner's family prospered. His son Fang zheguang once served as a general of the Kuomintang and director of the military law department of Xingxun, Guangdong Province. Now most of his descendants emigrated to foreign countries, and also served as local leading cadres in Guangzhou.

During the training course held in rongguifang in May 1964 by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the people's Republic of China and Guangdong Post and Telecommunications Bureau, Chuangyuan became the main dormitory for the students at that time.
