Most of the steles in liuzu hall say that the hall was founded in Ming Dynasty. However, according to an inscription engraved on the octagonal stone of the front eaves of liuzu hall discovered by Liu Dunzhen and others of China construction society in 1936, the hall was founded in 1206.
According to the photos preserved before the destruction of the hall, there are Buddhist platforms and niches in the middle of the hall, three statues in the middle, and statues of Dharma and Huike in the niches of Guanyin residence. The frescoes on the two walls are composed of 15 and 14 Zen masters respectively. They are all composed of two rows of sitting figures, eight in the front row, seven in the back row and six in the back row, with a total of 29 people.
The hall was repaired during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and was destroyed in 1928. This hall was designed and rebuilt according to the original site in 1983. It has three rooms in width and three rooms in depth. It is a hard Hill building with single eaves and a front porch. The statues in the hall were built after the reconstruction of the hall. The five jade statues are dashizhi Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Puxian Bodhisattva and dizang Bodhisattva. On the back of the five Bodhisattvas is a clay sculpture of "Dharma walking only in the west". Under the two Gables, there are statues of the first ancestor Dharma, the second ancestor Huike, the third ancestor Seng can, the fourth ancestor Daoxin, the fifth ancestor Hongren and the sixth ancestor Huineng. In addition, under the west wall, there is a statue of Dharma walking on the West.
