Zhejiang University of traditional Chinese medicine (Zhejiang University of traditional Chinese Medicine) is a provincial university which mainly focuses on traditional Chinese medicine, and has coordinated development of medicine, science, engineering, management and literature. The school is located on the South Bank of Qiantang River in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, facing the national scenic spot "Liuhe tower" across the river. The predecessor of the school is Zhejiang traditional Chinese medicine school, which was founded in July 1953. In June 1959, Zhejiang College of traditional Chinese medicine was officially established. The school is located at the former site of Zhejiang University, Qingchun Road, Hangzhou city. From 1960 to 1974, he was divided into two groups with Zhejiang Medical University. In March 2000, the school moved to binwen Road, Binjiang District, Hangzhou. In February 2006, it was renamed Zhejiang University of traditional Chinese medicine.
