Characteristic scenic spots
1、
The fog of reflection in song and Yuan Dynasties
The entrance of the park is the name of the park in both Chinese and English. The wavy shape of the stone carving is very beautiful. Going on, it is a wide square paved with marble - Shuijing Lengwu square. A shallow water body in the middle depression is like a mirror, which captures the blue sky, white clouds, red flowers, green trees and distant sails, forming a beautiful natural watercolor painting. When the shallow water subsided, the spray heads were orderly laid on the ground, and the spray water was gas, like a dream, in order to bring people back to the prosperous scene of Quanzhou's overseas trade in song and Yuan Dynasties.
2、
Concave convex and flawless, giant sails stand in the middle of the water
After entering the garden, you can see a white main sculpture standing in the middle of the lake. The sculpture, designed by the Central Academy of fine arts, is located on the central axis of the Asian garden, sparkling and dreamy.
The "maritime Silk Road" bears witness to the history of a nation and the dream of today's people. This sculpture is the symbol of Quanzhou, the starting point of "maritime Silk Road". It shows the memory of the past glory and the vision of the future glory, and shows that people will follow the footprints of Haisi, be full of peace and friendship, and continue to write the dream of their ancestors, and the maritime Silk Road will set sail in the new era.
3、
Every tree is charming and intoxicating
On the left side of the main sculpture of Fanying, on the left side of Shuijing square, there is an eye-catching red Erythrina building. Along the long slope of the roof, you can directly enter the main hall of the garden. When you enter the hall, the sunlight is projected onto the red ground through the transparent roof. The light and shadow are interlaced, giving you a quiet and tranquil feeling.
An island picture is laid on the ground to echo the maritime Silk Road, highlighting Quanzhou's marine culture and its historical position in the maritime Silk Road. In the future, when the green grass grows freely in the crevice of the red tile ground, and the rain and sunlight infiltrate into the ground, this ecological cycle can realize a poetic rebirth, which is also applied to the principle of "sponge city".
4、
Stubborn cattle and crocodiles grow together
Placed in the "symbiosis of forces" area on the left side of the park, a silver bull and a rattan crocodile are displayed opposite each other, which means the symbiotic development of the two forces. The crocodile is more than 20 meters long and weighs nearly 10000 Jin. The basic structure of the crocodile is steel bar, and then it is wrapped with rattan to make the shape of the crocodile. The wet rattan alone consumes more than 4000 Jin.
5、
The mountains are full of green
On the right front of the main sculpture is a very special green house. From the appearance point of view, it is made up of square shapes in an orderly way. What's more, it wore a military coat that was sewn with "pockets" full of green plants. Entering the interior is like walking into an isolated space with the freshness of plants in the air.
Zhu Kai, the designer of the green house and a famous contemporary architect, said that the design of the green house is integrated with the concept of Chinese garden rockery to capture the spatial experience of traditional Chinese gardens. "This will be a green and creative living place. Outside the building, we use green plants instead of rocks to build mountains. Visitors can experience the beauty of nature here."
6、
The epic scroll of Erythrina harbor
From the green house through, that is, came to a row of lifelike stone group. This work adopts the Chinese traditional epic narrative style, which is divided into three chapters to show the human yearning for the ocean, the prosperous scene of Quanzhou Haisi in the past, and the glory of Quanzhou as the largest port in the song and Yuan Dynasties. The content selects typical Haisi elements and Quanzhou symbols, and takes the love for blue, the prosperity of Haisi, and sailing for dreams as the core of story telling and emotional communication.
The visit of envoys, the loading and unloading of goods, the port trade, and the sailing together form a prosperous picture of "ten people in the city" and "businessmen of all nations in the rising sea". The work not only emphasizes the narrative and appeal of sculpture itself, but also takes into account the participation of contemporary public art, and achieves the unity of content and form, tradition and contemporary.
7、
Multi cultural splendor Island National Exhibition
The magnificent chapter ends, calm down the good mood, let's move on. Along the wooden plank road, across the bridge, through a two-color asphalt path, you come to the back of the main sculpture, which is the location of Southeast Asian group sculpture.
As an important sea passage of the maritime Silk Road, Southeast Asia plays the role of sea station. The continuous islands and diverse cultures constitute the colorful regional characteristics of Southeast Asia. This group of sculptures, with the intention of Southeast Asian Ocean island culture, shows the colorful, joyful and harmonious Southeast Asia in the Haisi culture.
