Yuedong guild hall is located in Hedong street, Hejie town. It was built in the second year of Daoguang reign of Qing Dynasty and has been preserved up to now. The layout is composed of the front, middle and back halls and the chambers on both sides. It is a bucket arch structure, supported by stone pillars, carved beams and painted buildings. The murals are exquisite and well preserved today. As a transit station between Cantonese and their hometown, the East Guangdong guild hall plays an irreplaceable role in the hearts of local Cantonese. In the hearts of the local Baise people, Yuedong guild hall is the most proud because it once led the Chinese revolution. It was here that Deng Xiaoping and other revolutionaries of the older generation planned and directed the Baise uprising. But the most striking thing is the small loft where Deng Xiaoping, Zhang Yunyi and other revolutionaries of the older generation lived during the revolutionary war. The small loft is simple and simple. Two benches and a few boards make up a "bed". The only items are a pair of shabby straw sandals and a coir hat, and the furniture is just two desks. In 1929, it was in this building that they directed and launched the famous Baise uprising. It was here that they spent the extraordinary years leading the Baise uprising and the revolutionary struggle in Youjiang Revolutionary Base. The East Guangdong guild hall is of brick, wood and stone structure, which is still quite solid. The layout of the whole building is rigorous and orderly, with three halls as the main body, side corridors and wing rooms on both sides, which are symmetrical, forming a "Yue" shape plane layout. It is an independent building complex with three entrances and two corridors. The whole building pays great attention to artistic decoration. The roof and ridge, including the "middle ridge" and "mountain ridge", have "built ridges". There are many colorful sculptures with historical stories on them. The eaves, column top and some wall heads also have many decorations such as figures, birds and animals, flowers and plants. The painted buildings and carved beams are antique, and many figures and mascots are carved, including pottery, porcelain, stone and wood Art forms such as carving or painting. The stone pillars in front of the three halls are respectively based on flower baskets, pumpkins and Buddhist beads, which respectively express the different functions of the three halls in welcoming guests, having many children and grandchildren, and worshiping Buddhas, reflecting the style, ideology and culture of ancient buildings in South China. Standing in the guild hall, looking at the green bricks around, the vivid but mottled carvings on the roof, the yellow and fallen murals under the eaves, and the lush pomegranate trees in the courtyard that may pass through the ancient and modern times, suddenly there are bursts of green fog in front of us, such as green bricks, ancient tiles, cornices, porcelain carvings, attics, panes, painting buildings, and carved beams, just like the ancient and rare old people watching us through the long years … There are 15 precious iron and wood plaques in the guild hall, which are the true portrayal of people's mentality in the past 280 years. "Spreading from east to west" expresses that Guangdong culture had been integrated into local people's life and became a part of local culture at that time. "Tongsheng hall" describes the desire of Cantonese in the East Guangdong guild hall to speak to the outside world with one heart and one voice.

Unfortunately, due to man-made destruction, except for Yuedong guild hall and Lingzhou guild hall, other guild halls no longer exist. The East Guangdong guild hall was built by Guangdong businessmen. It was first built in the 59th year of Kangxi reign of Qing Dynasty (1721), and then rebuilt many times. When Cantonese businessmen come to Baise, they like to stay in the East Guangdong guild hall, get together and negotiate business.

When you get to Baise, you have to see the Baise Uprising Memorial Hall and the East Guangdong guild hall. This is the former site of the headquarters of the seventh Red Army, which has preserved a generation of historical relics. The Baise Uprising Memorial Hall is not only an exhibition of revolutionary historical sites, but also a wonderful scenery. It is located on the hillside of Youjiang River, with a panoramic view of Baise City. The Youjiang River is like a silver chain winding away, and the memorial hall is magnificent and impressive.
On December 11, 1929, Comrade Deng Xiaoping successfully launched the Baise uprising. At the same time, the seventh army of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army was established in Baise. The military headquarters has a headquarters and a political department. The headquarters is located in the East Guangdong guild hall, where the staff office, manager office, adjutant office and military medical office of the headquarters work. Deng Xiaoping's and Zhang Yunyi's offices and living rooms are very simple. Each of them has a desk and a bed, and they work in the bed. Their beds are also made of pine planks and benches. They wear the same clothes, build the same bedding and eat the same meals as other station officers, setting up a good style of hard work for the whole army.
The Party Central Committee, the State Council, the Party committee and the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region attach great importance to the protection of the former site of the headquarters of the seventh Red Army. On March 26, 1961, the people's Government of the autonomous region listed the former site of the military headquarters of the seventh Red Army as a key cultural relic protection unit in the autonomous region, and at the same time established the "Youjiang Revolutionary Cultural Relics Museum" in the former site. On August 17, 1977, Comrade Deng Xiaoping wrote a title for the former site of the seventh Red Army: the former site of the seventh army headquarters of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army. On January 13, 1988, the State Council listed the former site of the military headquarters of the seventh Red Army as a "national key cultural relics protection unit".
