WuNvFeng National Forest Park

WuNvFeng National Forest Park is located in the Laoling mountains in the southeast of Jilin Province, by the Yalu River and at the southern foot of Changbai Mountain. Located 22 kilometers away from 303 national highway, 83 kilometers away from Tonghua City and 21 kilometers away from Ji'an City, it is characterized by eco-tourism, beautiful scenery of Qifeng, warm in winter and red maple leaves, forming a natural fairyland. It shows the local unique animal and plant resources and magnificent natural landscape. With a total area of 6867 hectares and a forest coverage rate of more than 95%, it is a national forest park. The park is rich in forest resources, with high mountains, dense forests and towering trees. The precious pine, Tilia, catalpa and birch trees are green. It is not only a paradise for wild animals and birds, but also the hometown of ginseng, deer antler and mink.

WuNvFeng National Forest Park

WuNvFeng National Forest Park is located in the north of Ji'an City, Jilin Province. There are tall and handsome girl peak, jade girl peak, pretty girl peak, spring girl peak and ginseng girl peak in the area. The total area is 6867 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 95%. It is also the hometown of wild vegetables, mountain fruits and mountain treasures.

On November 14, 1992, the former Ministry of forestry officially approved the establishment of a national forest park. In 2012, it was promoted to national AAAA scenic spot.

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who are struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, from the date of resumption of operation to December 31, 2020, the national medical workers will be given free tickets.

Location context

WuNvFeng National Forest Park is located in the southeast of Jilin Province, on the Bank of Yalu River, in Laoling mountains at the south foot of Changbai Mountain, and in Ji'an City, the world cultural heritage site of Gaogouli, Wangcheng and Wangling. It is 80 km away from Tonghua City and 20 km away from Ji'an city. There are 26 large peaks in the forest park, of which 17 are more than 1 km above sea level, with the highest altitude of 1337 meters and the lowest altitude of 693 meters. Among the peaks, Wunv peak is the most spectacular. They are tiannv peak, Yunv peak, shennv peak, xiunv peak and chunnv peak. There are xiaoqinggou River and qianfanggou river at the foot of the mountain. There is a spectacular natural waterfall and three springs on the mountain.

Resource overview

WuNvFeng National Forest Park focuses on the unique local animal and plant resources. The forest coverage rate is more than 95%. There are more than 100 families and more than 1000 species of plants in the park. Forest resources are mainly natural secondary forests, and there are precious tree species such as Catalpa bungei, Fraxinus mandshurica, Magnolia tiannu, Tilia amurensis, Pinus koraiensis, Pinus densiflora, etc. Plants and flowers include Rhododendron, Syringa oblongata, Schisandra chinensis, Hongjingtian, etc. Changbai Mountain flora and the plant belt in the southeastern margin of North China blend with each other to form a unique forest plant landscape. The number of negative oxygen ions in the air is 15400 per cubic centimeter, and the dust coefficient is zero. It is known as "natural oxygen bar".

Wild animals include black bear, wild boar, roe deer, badger, fox, hare, pheasant, squirrel, snake, etc.

Park brand

WuNvFeng National Forest Park was officially approved by the former Ministry of forestry on November 14, 1992.

In 1994, it was open to tourists.

On March 9, 1994, it was approved by the Ministry of forestry as one of the 20 demonstration forest parks in China.

In 2011, it was rated as a 4-star tourism enterprise in Jilin Province by Jilin Province leisure agriculture and rural tourism branch.

In 2012, it was promoted to national AAAA scenic spot, and was rated as the first batch of tourism service standardization units in Jilin Province by Jilin Provincial Bureau of Technical Supervision in the same year.

Scenic spots in the park

WuNvFeng National Forest Park is a forest scenic spot with beautiful natural landscape as the main body and cultural landscape and historical relics as the foil. There are ten scenic spots in China, including tiger Rock Scenic Spot, Yougu silver waterfall scenic spot, guanfengtai scenic spot, WuNvFeng scenic spot, Dongtian Haoyue scenic spot, Xianrentai scenic spot, meimeiquan scenic spot and Yuanzhi scenic spot. There are more than 30 natural landscapes and humanistic landscapes in these eight person scenic spots.

WuNvFeng scenic spot

WuNvFeng scenic spot in the park is the core scenic spot in the park. WuNvFeng is steep, straight and beautiful, just like five graceful ladies in green gauze. It is graceful and graceful, echoing each other from afar, forming the most beautiful landscape of WuNvFeng National Forest Park. There are 18 scenic spots in the park, including WuNvFeng, xiaojiangnan, dongtianhaoyue, meimeimeiquan, Grand Canyon, huhuyan, anti Japanese union ruins, botanical garden, Xianrentai, guanfengtai, Laoling Songtao, yixiantian, Koguryo ancient quarry, fengyeling and other 14 scenic spots and 56 scenic spots, forming a natural scenic spot with primitive ecology as its characteristics.

Guanfengtai scenic spot

Guanfengtai scenic spot is the most concentrated scenic spot of natural landscape in the park. Guanfengtai and Shishi cave are located here. There are mainly ancient Korean quarry, Xugen Qigong, feilaishi, Luotuofeng, Xianren cave, guanfengtai, Guanjingtai and other scenic spots. Guanfengtai is not only the central scenic spot of guanfengtai scenic area, but also the commanding point of this scenic area.

Dongtian Haoyue scenic spot

Dongtian Haoyue scenic spot is located in the west of the park. It is a very beautiful and magical scenic spot with beautiful natural landscape. The main scenic spots include xianfo cave, a line of sky stone wall and hanging Buddha in the air, "climbing cliff" and so on;

Xianren Cave Scenic Spot

In addition to the dazzling natural landscape, Xianren cave is also full of mystery. The main scenic spots are zangxin cave, Baishe cave, Xianrentai, tianzhuyan, Zhuangyang spring and so on. Zangxin cave is a semi essential natural cave on the left side of Wunv peak. There is a heart-shaped stone lying in the middle of the cave, so it is called zangxin cave.

Beauty spring scenic spot

Dongtian Haoyue scenic spot is 5km away from the pass of the park. It is the most characteristic, powerful and powerful scenic spot in the park. Main scenic spots: yixiantian, hanging Buddha in the sky, Fuxi historic site, xianfo cave.

Grand Canyon Scenic Area

Grand Canyon Scenic Area is a deep and long natural Grand Canyon with small bridges, flowing water and exotic flowers and plants. The scenery is very quiet and magical. There is a clear river running down the canyon. The four seasons flow all the year round, and the sound of running water can be heard from a distance. On the cliffs on both sides of the canyon, there are various tall and straight trees, showing a unique Canyon spectacle. The canyon waterfall is 6.5 meters wide, with a drop of 13 meters and a long-term water temperature of 15 ℃.
