Yanling cliff inscriptions in Shipai town

Yanling was originally an ancient quarry in Dongguan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Some of them are similar to the most famous Lotus Mountain in Guangdong. The stone is a kind of red stone, which has been mined for hundreds of years. Many stone walls and pillars are dark pink. The local people call them eighteen rooms. On the stone wall, there are four big characters in regular script of Yanling, Xianqin, written by sun Shuang in 1890. Each character is 0.1 square meter large. The above stone carvings are well preserved and have certain artistic value of calligraphy. There is a poem that says: Wen Qing is elegant, broad-minded and fat. He lives in Yanling, where all things are quietly observed, fish are chasing Li, flowers and birds are singing red, thousands of trees are bright and the moon is bright, the wind is clear, and people are in the same mood, the scenery is good and the time is right, the mountains are high and the books are given to Mingfeng. However, this scenic spot has not been well developed, only some ancient explorers like to come here, and you can learn about the development process of ancient quarries here, and have a certain understanding of the development of ancient history. It is said that the local government is preparing to develop it, because Lianhua Mountain has been well developed and has become a famous scenic spot in Guangdong Province. Shipai Food Street: located in zhongkeng village, Shipai town, the restaurants here are famous for the delicacy of pond fish, especially the four major fish (bighead carp, grass carp, bream and mud carp) in Dongguan.
