Tanyuan, originally located in the north of Nanxiang City, covers an area of only 3 mu. It was built by Li Liufang, a writer, calligrapher, painter and seal cutter of Ming Dynasty in 1605. The name of Tanyuan comes from its name. There are baozuntang, cizuige, shanyulou and furongxi in the garden, which are important places for her to study, foster her mother, recite poems and paint, meet friends and meet friends. It is a famous literati garden in Chinese history, but it was damaged by the "Jiading three butchers".
