Four kilometers away from Yunjinghong City, the ancient name is yunpasc. It is the site of Dai palace, the former supreme ruler of Xishuangbanna. Yunpasc, also known as Xuanwei street, is the capital of Jinglong Jindian state (also known as Mengxi state) which flourished in the history of Xishuangbanna. According to historical records, Xishuangbanna was under the jurisdiction of Dali in the Song Dynasty. At that time, there were many tribes in Xishuangbanna, which were called "Gang" in Dai language. The tribal leaders fought with each other for territory, and the people had no peace. Therefore, Dali issued a list to recruit muxianneng warriors to quell the tribal disputes, and awarded them as the king of one side. The leader of mengjingzhen (now Jingzhen, mengzha Township, Menghai county) with excellent martial arts and brilliant intelligence, PA Yazhen (meaning the leader with outstanding martial arts skills) volunteered to join in. They used the methods of appeasement, military conquest and annexation to settle the tribal disputes and make the tribes form an alliance. After the unification of the tribes, payazhen was appointed as a general by Emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty. Later, he approved the establishment of Jinglong Jindian state (Mengxi state). The emperor of Song Dynasty gave tiger head Jinying weapons and costumes of honor and ordered him to be the king of one side. He was called the supreme Buddha of Jinglong Jindian state, and also called zhaofalongmohan (King of golden hat). It is said that after payazhen was granted the title, the first capital was built in Jinglan (now manjinglan, Jinghong Town, Jinghong City). Because Jinglan was located in the center of Pingba, the terrain was flat and open, and it was difficult to defend against the attack of foreign enemies, so it was moved to the capital surrounded by water on three sides, with its back against the green mountains. It was difficult to attack and defend the treasure land yunpasc, which made yunpasc the center of feudal lords' rule in Xishuangbanna. There is a two kilometer long and 30 meter wide street named Xuanwei Street (named after Mengbi king who was granted Xuanwei envoy). There are eight villages nearby, including mangangjing, manlongdong, mankongzhang, manpasa, Manle, manwa, manga and kongke. There are five Buddhist temples and some pagodas, including walong, Wazhuangdong, wazhangpei, wazai and wamanle On the riverside, there are lawns for people to play and horse races. Chieftains who often buy horses gather here. There was a period of prosperity in Xuanwei street. Later, due to the flooding of Lancang River, the streets, lawns, roads and villages were destroyed, and Xuanwei Street went from prosperity to desolation. By the time of the ten-year turmoil, the former "Hehan" Dai palace had been destroyed, which destroyed hundreds of years of cultural relics.
