Zhenghe park is located in Yueshan, Kunyang Town, Jinning County, on the South Bank of Dianchi Lake, 60 kilometers away from Kunming. Originally named Yueshan Park, Kunyang was the hometown of Zheng He, and the tomb of his father mahazhi was on Yueshan, so it was renamed in 1979. Zhu Di, the king of Yan, made great contributions to the struggle for the throne with Zhu Yun, the Jianwen emperor, and became an important person beside the emperor Chengzu of Ming Dynasty. Cheng Zu of the Ming Dynasty sent Zheng He to lead the team, with Jing Hong as the Deputy envoy, leading more than 27800 sailors, officers and soldiers to sail to the West on 62 "treasure ships". In 1405, they set out from Liujiagang, Suzhou (today's East Liuhe Town, Taicang), went to Zhancheng (today's South South Vietnam), Java, Sumatra, Ceylon (today's Sri Lanka) and other places, turned back through the West Bank of India, and returned to China in 1407. Later, he sailed to sea in 1408-1411, 1413-1415, 1417-1419, 1421-1422, 1403-1433. In 28 years, he sailed seven times, covering more than 30 countries, reaching the east coast of Africa and the Red Sea as far as possible. The largest ship was about 148 meters long and 60 meters wide, with a capacity of 1000 people. These voyages were more than half a century earlier than the voyages of Columbus and dagama in the West. Nanjing Zhenghe park is a park with close historical origin with Zhenghe. In the fifth year of Yongle (1407 AD), zheng he returned from his first trip to the Western Ocean. In order to thank Mazu, the God of the sea, for protecting Zheng He's safe navigation, Zhu Di, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, built the "Longjiang Tianfei Palace" and wrote the inscription "the stele of Hongren Puji Tianfei Palace". The monument is about 6 meters high and weighs 27 tons, with 699 characters. It is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit in Jiangsu Province.

Zheng He's tomb is located at the foot of Niushou mountain in Nanjing. After renovation, it completely retains the original historical features and the customs, specifications and features of Muslim burial.
