Located around Zixia Lake in the east of Shiqiao in Xiaoling of Ming Dynasty, Zhengqi Pavilion is between Zhongshan Mausoleum and Xiaoling of Ming Dynasty. In the center of granite retaining wall behind the pavilion is Zhengqi Pavilion written by Sun Ke and personally written by Chiang Kai Shek. It is said that Chiang Kai Shek chose this kind of tomb site, which implied that he was superior to Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty. Therefore, he built the tomb site on the Xiaoling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty, and respected Sun Yat Sen, so it was lower than Zhongshan Mausoleum.
