Jinzhu Village

Jinzhushanzhai is a mountain place name in Jinzhushan Township, Fuliang County, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the northeast mountainous area of Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital, and adjacent to Anhui Province.

Geography and topography

Shanzhai is the remnant of Huangshan Mountain. The terrain of the whole mountain area is more than 600 meters above sea level, and the highest peak of Jiaoding mountain in the south is more than 1000 meters above sea level. Due to its beautiful scenery and pleasant climate, it is known as the "xiaolushan" summer resort by the outside world. Ancient silver trees can be seen everywhere in the village, yew forests are made of ancient trees, and hundreds of golden red faced monkeys appear frequently. The thousand mu primeval forest is a unique place in the south of the Yangtze River. The Grand Canyon is secluded and passionate. Shuanglong Waterfall (two waterfalls facing each other) is turbulent and spectacular all year round.

Jinshan Temple

Jinshan Temple is a small temple in the village. The original temple has been destroyed, and now the building is rebuilt according to its original appearance.

Although Jinshan Temple is not big, there is a saying that "the mountain is not high. If there is an immortal, there will be a spirit". It is also said that "the spirit of the small temple". From the constant incense of Jinshan Temple, we can know the effectiveness of the Bodhisattva here. It is said that a long time ago, master Fahai traveled to Xiaoyuan, from the mountain "dragon vein" in the village to the direction of the village. This is a treasure land of geomantic omen, but there is a lack of people in the village. After inspection, he found that there are two green and white snake immortals hidden in the dragon vein. Through his guidance, the masses spontaneously built this temple opposite it. There were 300 Buddhas and more than 40 monks in the temple .

Jinzhushan Uprising

The Jinzhushan uprising, also known as the Xiaoyuan uprising, was an armed confrontation between the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang in the jinzhushanzhai area.

In April 1934, in order to cooperate with the main forces of the Red Army of the Communist Party of China against the armed encirclement and suppression of the Kuomintang, more than 600 peasants around Xiaoyuan, under the direct leadership of the special committee of the North Jiangxi Province of the Communist Party of China, armed riots with local Blunderbuss, knives, spears and other weapons. After the red army won the riot, the Fourth District Committee of the CPC Hedong County Committee was established. The main leader of the riot was Fang Zhimin, one of the early leaders of the Communist Party of China in Jiangxi Province.
