Huxin Palace
Huxin palace, located in Luobulinka, Lhasa, Tibet, opposite jiupozhang (New Palace) of Dadan Ming Dynasty, was built by the eighth Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama often meets and entertains monks and secular officials here.
brief introduction
Located on the Bank of an artificial lake, Huxin palace is the most beautiful place in loprinka. It is full of ancient trees and grass. The layout of palaces, pavilions, waterside pavilions and corridors is compact. The pools, lawns, trees and houses complement each other. The pavilions and pavilions are almost entirely in the architectural style of the Han nationality. It's like walking into Suzhou gardens.
Appearance
Huxin palace is also called cuojipozhang, and its main buildings include Huxin palace and Longwang palace. The plane of Huxin palace is a long strip pool, but within the pool, it is divided into three square islands in the north and south, surrounded by stone railings around the island and the pond, which is similar to the layout of "one pool and three islands" in the classical garden of Han Dynasty. There are Huxin palace and Longwang palace in the pool. The two palaces are connected by a stone bridge across the water, and the two sides can be reached from the central island, which reflects the artistic conception of water flowing through a small bridge in a Han style garden. A small island in the south of Huxin palace is isolated from the pool. Only some trees are planted on the island to keep its natural growth of wild interest, which is similar to the summer palace in Beijing.
The roof of Huxin palace adopts Xieshan style and yellow glazed tile roof. Its architectural details, such as the blue and gray marble fence, pillar, wood doors and windows, partition, and color painting, almost all use the traditional construction techniques of the Han nationality. The Dragon King Palace in the north of Huxin palace is a mixed structure of Han and Tibetan styles. In the lower part of the zanjian roof, the Chinese style bucket arch structure is adopted, and the roof cornice is tilted. The combination of Han and Tibetan architectural art is ingenious and natural.
To the west of the waterside pavilion of Huxin palace, there is a two-story zhongzengpozhang, where the Dalai Lama studies.
