Tanghu Park

In the southwest of Shuangliu County, Chengdu City, there is a green antique garden with sparkling lake light, which is known as Tanghu Park in Western Sichuan. Tanghu Park was founded in 1986, at the beginning of the Seventh Five Year Plan. It was elaborately designed by using the old river channel and the unique bamboo forest courtyard in Western Sichuan rural areas. It took two years to build this park with Bashu mountains and rivers, beautiful natural scenery, and the special features of northern, Southern and Lingnan gardens. The park covers an area of more than 200 mu, ranking first among all parks in Chengdu. The park has profound historical and cultural background, condenses the spirit of the double streams and mountains, and the essence of the region, concentrates the historical sites, cultural landscapes, beautiful mountains and rivers, and times of the one thousand and seventy square kilometers of land. The park is divided into eight scenic spots, such as "green willow and lotus", "Qu shangjiexiu", "Haitang spring dock", "Xunfeng Xiongzhi" and "misty rain across the lake". There are dozens of scenic spots, such as "yuliu Tingtao", "Tanglin chunse", "Wenjin Guanyu", "Wanxia sunset", "Fenghuang catchwords", "Jinhua Yeyue", "gudu Jingge", "Zhudao Liangfeng" and "Guta Langsheng". Buildings, platforms, pavilions, pavilions, corridors, ancestral halls, pavilions and towers of different shapes are scattered among them.
