Hunan Shuifu tourist area

Shuifu tourist area is located in the west of Xiangxiang, 20 kilometers away from the city, 18 kilometers in total length, 24 kilometers across, 48 kilometers in water depth, 45 square kilometers in effective water surface, 560 million cubic meters of water storage, 431 kilometers in reservoir bank line. The water in the reservoir area is like a mirror, the island is like a green snail, the Dai mountain is reflected, and the scenery of lakes and mountains is endless. There are many fields on both sides of the reservoir area, and the tea forest and orchard are green and full of simple, quiet and leisurely pastoral atmosphere. It is an ideal place for foreign investors to open up tourism projects such as sightseeing, vacation, leisure, entertainment and ecological agriculture.

Hunan Shuifu tourist area

The planned area of Hunan Shuifu tourist area is 177.2 square kilometers. It is located at the junction of Xiangtan City and Loudi City. Shangrui Expressway and Hunan Guizhou railway pass through the lake, 140 kilometers away from Huanghua International Airport. There are six large and medium-sized cities with a population of more than 10 million within two hours' drive.

The construction started in 2000, Xiangtan Municipal Party committee and municipal government regard this area as one of the key tourism and leisure industry bases of Xiangtan City, and include it in the key construction projects of Xiangtan city. In 2006, it was selected as one of the "new Xiaoxiang eight sceneries" of ecological leisure category.

Development and construction

As a key tourism industry project in Hunan Province during the 11th Five Year Plan period, it undertakes the function of building a leisure and holiday service base in Changsha Zhuzhou Xiangtan Urban Agglomeration as a "resource-saving, environment-friendly" social comprehensive reform pilot area. This is the source of the Hunan army, with beautiful scenery and rich culture.

According to the general planning of Hunan Shuifu tourist area (Revised) (2007-2020), Shuifu tourist area will rely on its own beautiful natural landscape resources and profound cultural heritage, take ecological leisure products as the core, and take cultural tourism, sightseeing tourism and food tourism as the auxiliary to build China's lake type top ecological leisure resort.

Shuifu tourist resort has entered a comprehensive upgrading stage in 2008. The scenic area plans to build the company into a 4A grade tourist area in the next three years, a 5A grade tourist area in five years, and a national tourist resort in 10 years.

Main attractions

There are 75 natural landscapes in the area, including lion mountain, EBO mountain, Rizhao terrace, scarlet reef, legeng Island, Bailu island and qinglongtan. There are 5 first-class scenic spots, 9 second-class scenic spots, 5 third-class scenic spots, more than 30 islands, 8 natural karst caves, and several canyons and cliffs. There are 18 main caves and 48 sub caves in qinglongtan. There are many wonderful sceneries in the cave, including various kinds of stone pillars and stalagmites. It is well known that the West Lake is beautiful and the landscape of Guilin is the best in the world.

Tour route: take a luxury cruise to see Shuifu cultural attractions: Snake Island, crocodile Island, lock island to watch fish. Then visit the natural scenic spots: Taohua Island, Shuifu bridge and legeng island. Cultural attractions: Phoenix Island, terror City, bullring. Then visit the natural scenic spots: Shuifu dam, yicuomao.

Geographic transportation

Located in the middle of Hunan Province, there are seven cities and towns within 120 kilometers, including Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Shaoyang, Loudi, Yiyang and Hengyang, with a permanent population of nearly 10 million. Located in the 1.5-hour economic circle of Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Louzhou and Shaozhou, the surrounding expressways include Er Guang expressway, henghuai Expressway and Tan Heng expressway.
