Development history
The park was officially established on April 20, 1998, and the "tea Tour" tourism hotline was developed. More than 200000 tourists come here every year, creating a comprehensive tourism income of more than 10 million yuan. The additional benefits of tourism products and souvenirs sales reached more than 6 million yuan, and the annual tax increased by more than 600000 yuan. Tourism has become a pillar industry for the prosperity of wuyunshan village. In 1999, it was rated as the red flag Party organization of the whole province; in 2001-2005, it was rated as the civilized unit of Huanggang City for two consecutive times; in 2004, it was rated as the advanced unit of tourism work by Huanggang Tourism Bureau; in 2006, it was included in the new rural construction demonstration village of "one hundred towns and one thousand villages" of the whole province.
Wuyunshan tea park was developed by wuyunshan village for more than ten years in order to develop tea industry and sightseeing agriculture. It is located at the foot of wuyunshan mountain, about five kilometers away from the north of Yingshan County, with "wuyunshan Zhuji" on its back. Here, the mountains are continuous, the clouds are shrouded, the pine trees are green, the "green dragon" is playing in the water, and the scenery of lakes and mountains is beautiful. "Wuyunshan tea park" is the first "tea park" named after tea in China. Comrade Zhang Hongxiang, former vice governor of Hubei Provincial People's government, inscribed the name of the park. The production of "Yingshan Yunwu Tea" has won gold and silver in various tea evaluation. The tea farm has been awarded "Top Ten Star tea farm" in Yingshan County and "pollution-free tea demonstration base" in Hubei Province. "Wushanchun" brand tea trademark has become a popular brand in the market. The tea factory has set up its own website, which has truly achieved the goal of "clicking the mouse and rolling in financial resources". It produces more than 32000 Jin of dry tea every year, with an output value of more than 2.9 million yuan and profits and taxes of more than 280000 yuan.
At present, there are more than 30 "farmhouse" in wuyunshan tea park, with more than 200 direct employees and more than 300 indirect employment posts. "Visiting tea park, tasting wuyunshan tea, enjoying natural oxygen bar and eating farmhouse food" has become a new consumption trend for more and more city tourists to return to nature.
