The overall building adopts Japanese style wood structure, with its back against the green mountains, winding paths and sparse flowers and trees. It has the style of a novel and antique British country villa. As soon as I step in, I seem to go back to the past. Function value
Beitou Hot Spring Museum is an open place with both history and hot spring introduction. Walking down the wooden steps to the first floor of the ground floor (actually the first floor), the most eye-catching is the central hot spring bath. It was once the largest hot spring bath in East Asia. Today, it still has a bit of style and grandeur, almost the size of a swimming pool. There are arched walls around the bath, full of the flavor of Roman public baths. Back then, when you were relaxing in a hot spring bath and sitting on the tatami on the second floor along the wooden steps, sometimes the mountain haze would quietly flow in and have fun together. Whether there were singing and dancing performances or not, it was a kind of comfort and leisure. We can only find the relevant words in the literature, or meditate in the process of visiting the museum. The rooms and corridors on both sides show the cultural relics and history of the hot springs: the strange shape of hot spring pipes and pool bricks, the hot springs in Taiwan and around the world. It's a piece of good news for the cool hot spring lovers.
