Therefore, the construction of Chinese stone appreciation Park in Wu Culture Expo Park is a grand event to carry forward the tradition of stone appreciation and enrich Wu culture. Since September 8, 2008, China stone appreciation Park was signed by China stone appreciation Association and Wuxi New Area Management Committee to cooperate with Wu Culture Expo Park. As a cultural boutique project of Wuxi New Area relying on Wu's historical and cultural resources and accelerating the strategic transformation and development of service industry, it has been highly concerned and strongly supported by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development, torch center of the Ministry of science and technology, Wuxi Municipal Party committee and government. China stone appreciation park has always been based on the principles of high-grade planning, high-quality construction and high standard investment promotion. After three years of careful preparation, it opened on September 29, 2011. The completed Zhonghua stone appreciation park is located at the north entrance of the main functional area of Wu Culture Expo Park, covering an area of 238 mu, with an investment of 350 million yuan and a construction area of 25000 square meters, including a 15000 square meter stone Museum, a 10000 square meter trading area and nearly 200 mu stone appreciation garden. As the first entity base and comprehensive base of China Ornamental Stone Association, China Ornamental Stone Park will gather fine fossils, mineral crystals, rare stones, precious stones and other resources, integrate traditional culture, stone appreciation culture and Jiangnan garden culture, and have the functions of exhibition and transaction, science popularization training, appraisal and auction, e-commerce, conference and exhibition, gathering people flow and logistics , information flow, capital flow, committed to building China's first ornamental stone garden and international ornamental stone exhibition and marketing platform.

Located at the north entrance of the main functional area of China Wu Culture Expo Park, the park is adjacent to taibodu in the north, Lianghong Wetland Park in the East, and Hongshan Heritage Park in the south, with a planning area of 250 mu. Project background

Wuxi is located in the center of the Yangtze River Delta, China's most developed economy. It is adjacent to Taihu Lake in the south, the Yangtze River in the north, and the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal. Wuxi is the birthplace of Wu culture for three thousand years, the birthplace of China's national industry and commerce, and the birthplace of China's township enterprises.

Wuxi is a good place! Here, Lingshan Buddha's Sanskrit voice is curling and believers gather; here, Taihu Lake is the best place, after all, in Yuantou; here, 3200 years ago, Wu culture, a splendid regional culture in the history of Chinese civilization, was cut off from tattooing and slash and burn cultivation.

In June 2008, Wuxi Municipal Party committee and government decided to build China Wu Culture Expo Park, which is a major strategic decision to optimize the industrial structure, improve regional functions, and highlight Wuxi's cultural soft power and comprehensive competitiveness from the perspective of learning and practicing the scientific outlook on development. Wuxi New Area is a special functional area with the theme of the protection and development of Wu culture after Taihu Lake International Science and Technology Park and Airport Industrial Park.

China Wu Culture Expo Park is located in the southeast of Wuxi City, covering an area of 18.2 square kilometers. It has become a cultural industry demonstration base in Jiangsu Province. Located in the 3200 year old Wu civilization, Hongshan ruins and the well preserved natural ecological environment of Xidong area, the park is committed to creating a famous slow life leisure resort far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The park has built Hongshan site museum / Wu Culture Museum of China, Lianghong national wetland, Radisson Hotel in Wuxi high tech Zone, and Zhonghua stone appreciation park. The projects under construction include wanqingliangtian, 8090 new village in Wudi, Yamato housing project in Japan, Olympic sports construction real estate project, etc.

Wu culture is closely related to Chinese stone appreciation culture. Wu area in the south of the Yangtze River, the shore of Taihu Lake, is an important heritage and prosperity of stone culture. As early as the Liangzhu period, the ancestors of Wu made tools with stone tools, and made exquisite jade, known as "Chinese jade". Wu's painting, calligraphy, poetry, gardens, architecture and so on are inseparable from the stone. Taihu stone, in particular, is the core content of Jiangnan gardens and an important symbol of Wu culture.

Today, Wuxi new area cooperates with China Ornamental Stone Association to build the Chinese stone appreciation Park project, which is to better promote the stone culture and Wu culture, and create a cultural boutique project.

Development orientation

The overall goal of China stone appreciation park is to build "three centers and one model", namely, stone appreciation culture and popular science education center, stone appreciation exhibition and communication center, stone appreciation distribution and trading center, and stone appreciation base model in China. With the help of the resources of China Ornamental Stone Association and provincial and municipal associations, focusing on self-development, through 2-3 years of cultivation, we will build "national cultural industry demonstration base, Yangtze River Delta Tourism popularity highland, and the world's best ornamental stone exhibition and trading platform".

National cultural industry demonstration base: with Wu culture as the foundation, stone industry as the carrier, and stone culture creative industry as the characteristics, the Chinese stone appreciation park will be built into a national model for the development of cultural industry and the realization of win-win social and economic benefits under the guidance of the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 17th CPC Central Committee, and actively strive for the honorary title of "national cultural industry demonstration base".

Yangtze River Delta Tourism popularity highland: taking advantage of the favorable conditions of the ornamental stone industry in the Yangtze River Delta region, such as the lack of effective development and superior geographical position, it has become a magnificent visual feast in the Yangtze River Delta tourism market by showing colorful mineral crystal stones, strange modeling stones, magical texture stones and dusty fossils for hundreds of millions of years. At the same time, combined with Lianghong Wetland Park and Hongshan Heritage Museum, it has become the first choice for tourism in Xidong, echoing the scenic spot of Lingshan in Xixi, and becoming one of the hot spots in the Yangtze River Delta and even in the whole country.

Project overview

On September 8, 2008, China Ornamental Stone Association and Wuxi New Area Management Committee formally signed a cooperation agreement, marking the beginning of the construction and development of China Ornamental Stone Park. On November 28, 2011, after three years of construction preparation, Zhonghua stone appreciation Park was officially opened, and the first International Stone Fair in Wuxi, China was solemnly held. Song Ruixiang, former Minister of the Ministry of Geology and mineral resources of the people's Republic of China, Changshou Jiahua, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of land and resources of the people's Republic of China and China Ornamental Stone Association, Zhang Jiuhan, vice chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, and more than ten provinces from the United States, Germany, South Korea, Malaysia and the whole country More than 200 guests attended the ceremony, including representatives of ornamental stone association, strategic cooperation units and exhibitors. It is necessary to constantly enhance the functions of ornamental stones in "invigorating people", "educating people" and "enriching people", and strive for the great development and prosperity of ornamental stone culture. The promulgation of the declaration has effectively established the important position of China stone appreciation Park in the development of China's ornamental stone industry.

After completion, the Zhonghua stone appreciation garden covers an area of about 300 mu, including stone Museum, Taobao city and stone appreciation garden, with a construction area of about 25000 square meters. Among them, the stone Museum, the main building of China stone appreciation Park, has a foyer and 10 theme exhibition halls. More than 1000 pieces of exquisite products are displayed, covering five categories of modeling stone, patterned stone, mineral crystal stone, fossil and special stone.

Xuting: Xuting displays the representative stones and all kinds of geological wonders from 30 stone towns (cities) in China, showing the uncanny workmanship of nature.

Fossil Hall: the exhibits in the fossil hall are all from Dr. Liu Guanghua's personal collection. The exhibits are collected from all over the world, which are highly scientific, rare and artistic, and help to understand the evolution of life on earth.
