"Before going to the south of the Yangtze River, smile first, and face Junshan on the Yueyang Tower.". Junshan is a small island in Dongting Lake, located in the southwest of Yueyang City, with a water distance of 12 km. With a total area of 0.98 square kilometers, it faces Yueyang Tower across the lake. It is an oval island with high sides and low middle. There are 72 peaks on the mountain.

Junshan is in Dongting Lake, 15 kilometers southwest of Yueyang City. It's an island less than 100 hectares. It was originally named Dongfu mountain, which means "the court of Dongfu".
