Shandong College of traditional Chinese medicine is a provincial full-time general college. Its predecessor was Shandong College of traditional Chinese medicine, which was founded in 1958. In 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of education, it was transformed into Shandong College of traditional Chinese medicine. The school is located in Yantai Yangma island tourist resort known as "Oriental Hawaii", covering an area of 965 mu, with a construction area of 300000 square meters and a fixed asset of 490 million yuan. The school has Shandong traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Museum, 7 experimental training centers, 2 central laboratories, 15 affiliated hospitals and more than 160 double bases for practice and employment.
