Hubei University of Education

Hubei second normal university is located in Wuhan, a famous historical and cultural city, which is the thoroughfare of nine provinces. It is a provincial public undergraduate college with the characteristics of teacher education and the coordinated development of Arts, science, education, economy and engineering. It is an important base of Teacher Education in Hubei Province. The school began in 1931 with Hubei Provincial Institute of education. In March 2007, with the approval of the Ministry of education and the people's Government of Hubei Province, it was transformed into Hubei second normal university. In January 2009, it merged with Hubei Economic Management Cadre College to form a new "Hubei second normal college". The school enrolls students from all over the country and trains all kinds of high-quality talents for Hubei and even the whole country. Wuhan language and culture vocational college is under the jurisdiction of the school.

Campus picturesque: the school has three campuses (Optical Valley main campus, Zhuodaoquan campus and Tangxunhu campus), covering an area of 2237 mu. The main campus is located in Wuhan China Optical Valley Park, Donghu high tech Development Zone, Wuhan City, covering an area of 1667 mu, with a total construction area of 670000 square meters. There are European style teaching buildings, office buildings and dormitory buildings in the school. The buildings are connected with each other, and the modern library, auditorium, gymnasium and constant temperature swimming pool are in perfect harmony. The school has abundant teachers and outstanding scientific research strength. Among more than 900 full-time teachers, 40% have a deputy senior title or above. In recent years, the college has obtained more than 2000 scientific research achievements. The University publishes journals such as journal of Hubei second normal university, contemporary economics (Core Journal of Economics), friends of the head teacher, learning outside language and mathematics, etc.

Modern facilities: the school has advanced facilities suitable for professional teaching: computer room, language room, electronic reading room, multimedia classroom and more than 60 professional laboratories. The library is rich in books and advanced in management. Campus network optical fiber high-speed access to China Education and research network and the Internet, is the national primary and secondary school teachers continuing education project modern distance education pilot unit.

The school has 69 undergraduate and junior college majors in six disciplines, including literature, science, education, economics, management, and engineering, forming three dominant subject groups of Arts, science, and education. The university has more than 19000 full-time ordinary higher education students.

Tonglian international school focuses on international exchanges and cooperation, and has a good foundation of cooperation with the United States, France, Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and other countries. Excellent students can be sent to study abroad.

After 78 years of running a school, Hubei No.2 Normal University has established the school running concept of "building a school with quality, strengthening the school with famous teachers, and prospering the school with characteristics".
