The Institute of international relations is located in the scenic spot in the northwest suburb of Beijing, facing the summer palace in the west, Yuanmingyuan in the East, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Central Party school and other famous universities and Zhongguancun Science and technology park. Its geographical location and educational and scientific research environment are very superior because of its elite gathering and outstanding people. The school of international relations has a glorious history of more than 50 years of growth and development, and is famous for training foreign professionals in New China. The college has pioneered a teaching method focusing on foreign contemporary language learning. It has taken the lead in completing the transformation from a pure foreign language major to a compound foreign major. The college also cooperates with China Institute of modern international relations to train doctoral students majoring in international relations.
