The school of management of Beijing Union University was founded in March 2002. It is a young and vigorous school dedicated to the cultivation of economic and management talents.

Based on the disciplines of business management, finance, management science and engineering, regional economics and other disciplines, and on the platform of scientific research institutions such as Beijing small and medium-sized enterprise development research center, capital financial research center, Capital Institute of economic and enterprise development, applied economy and Management Research Institute, the college has finance (including insurance), accounting, information management and information system, engineering, etc Business management (including international business direction), financial management, e-commerce 6 undergraduate majors, about 2400 students.

Since 2010, the school of management has implemented the talent training mode of "major enrollment, graded teaching, students' independent and diversified development", and all majors are enrolled according to "business administration". After enrollment, students will study public basic courses and major professional platform courses together in the first three semesters, and implement major diversion from the fourth semester. The purpose is to adapt to the requirements of modern society for cultivating compound applied talents with profound humanistic quality and scientific literacy, solid foundation, strong innovation ability and practical ability.

The college is the core unit of the national and Beijing Service Outsourcing Talent Training Mode Innovation Experimental Zone of Beijing Union University; the finance major is the national characteristic major; the economic and trade experimental teaching center of Beijing Union University owned by the college is the municipal experimental teaching demonstration center; the college has started to recruit and train "business administration" postgraduates since 2012.

As of May 2012, the college has 116 teaching staff, including 97 full-time teachers, 46% of them are teachers with senior titles, 25 are doctors (including postdoctors), 100% are young and middle-aged teachers with doctor's degree and master's degree, and 56% are full-time teachers with industry and professional practice background.
