Boda College of Jilin Normal University is an independent college approved by the Ministry of education with the qualification of ordinary undergraduate education. It is a teaching university with distinctive educational characteristics jointly established by Jilin Normal University with 50 years of rich school running history and the powerful hot rolling steel plant in Tiedong District of Siping City. The college is located in Siping City, Jilin Province, a beautiful hero city in Songliao plain.

Boda college began to be established at the end of 1999. In April 2000, it was officially approved as a secondary college of Jilin Normal University by Jilin Provincial Education Committee. The first batch of freshmen entered the college in the autumn of that year. In March 2004, it was approved as an independent college by the Ministry of education. At present, there are more than 5800 students. In eight years of continuous exploration of school running practice, Boda college has gradually formed its own school running characteristics and brand advantages.
