Approved by the Ministry of education, Liaoning public security and judicial administration cadre college is the only college in Liaoning Provincial Political and legal system managed by the public security department, which integrates general academic education, adult academic education, on-the-job police training in the political and legal system and the promotion and training of the people's police rank. The new campus is located in Shenyang Qipanshan International scenic area, adjacent to the world cultural heritage Dongling park. The campus covers an area of 400 mu, with a planned construction area of 120000 square meters, a school running scale of 6000 people, and more than 3000 person times of various kinds of police training every year. The excellent school running conditions, beautiful natural environment and excellent teaching staff make the "time-honored" cadre training college with 62 years of glorious history expand the new green of higher vocational education and adult education. While carrying out the tasks of training police officers in the provincial political and legal system and promoting police officers and police sergeants to supervisors, 22 general higher education majors and 10 adult higher education majors in public security, law, finance and economics, foreign languages, management and information technology have been set up.

The college has 6 excellent teachers from the Ministry of public security, 3 teachers at the level of 100 selected from the "100 million talent project" in Liaoning Province, 3 young backbone teachers in Liaoning Province, 2 excellent teachers in Liaoning Province and 2 provincial professional leaders in Liaoning Province. Four provincial excellent teaching teams, two provincial demonstration majors, two provincial brand majors and six provincial excellent courses have been carefully cultivated and won five provincial excellent teaching achievement awards. We have set up 10 professional qualification appraisal places, including "national computer information high tech examination site" and "Liaoning Provincial National rapid recording professional qualification skill appraisal center". Among them, the major of Chinese shorthand takes the lead in China.

In the past five years, teachers of the college have completed 56 national, provincial (ministerial) and international exchange projects, published 1412 papers and 333 books and textbooks. In particular, they have cooperated with Renmin University Press of China to publish 11 textbooks for higher vocational education, achieving a major breakthrough in the history of textbook compilation. The research center of socialism with Chinese characteristics has been rated as the provincial excellent theoretical research base by the Publicity Department of the provincial Party committee.
