Xiantao vocational college is a public full-time ordinary college approved by the people's Government of Hubei Province and the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is located in Xiantao City, Hubei Province, which is the home of Olympic champions Li Xiaoshuang, Li Dashuang, Yang Wei, Zheng Lihui and Liao Hui. The college is located in Wuhan in the East, Jingzhou in the west, the Yangtze River in the South and the Han River in the north, with beautiful scenery and convenient transportation.

The construction of campus is magnificent. The college covers an area of 1000 mu, with an area of 365000 square meters. It has modern large buildings such as science and technology building, teaching building, medical building, information building, art building, adult education building, student activity center, library, academic exchange center, etc. The teaching, living and entertainment venues have distinct areas and perfect functions, and the natural, architectural and cultural landscapes are in a trinity with elegant environment. It is one of the two "garden style schools" named by Hubei Provincial Department of education, and has been awarded the honorary title of the best "civilized unit" by Hubei provincial Party committee and provincial government for many times.

The teaching equipment is advanced and complete. The college has built campus network, audio-visual studio center, more than 70 professional laboratories, 5 provincial key laboratories, 5 modern voice laboratories and a large number of computer rooms. The library has a collection of more than 600000 books and more than 1000 kinds of newspapers and magazines. The college has established a national public English, computer and Putonghua level test station and a medical practitioner qualification examination center. There are also two experimental factories and more than 10 large-scale training bases including the national experimental training base for higher vocational colleges.

The college has a strong faculty. There are 693 teachers, including 138 professors and associate professors and 239 lecturers. We employ famous professors and foreign experts from Wuhan University, Huazhong University of science and technology and Huazhong Normal University to give lectures or teach. With the support of the State Administration of foreign affairs, the college cooperates with the ED foundation to actively participate in international academic exchanges.

The college has 6 branches, 2 departments and 4 institutes, including medical college, School of computer science and technology, School of mechanical and electronic engineering, School of economics and management, School of Arts and media, and School of continuing education, with 40 majors and directions. There are more than 12000 students in the school. With the motto of "moral integrity, studious ability, excellent character and learning, and becoming an adult", and the training goal of "one college, three strong, physical and mental health", the College strives to cultivate high-level professional and technical talents with solid professional foundation, strong hands-on ability, computer ability and English understanding for the society, and provides professional promotion to more than 20 undergraduate colleges such as Hubei University, Wuhan University of science and technology and Wuhan University of technology This is my student.
