Zhaotong normal college, founded in 1978, is a public school integrating full-time college, adult higher education and radio and Television University. The school is located in Zhaoyang District, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, which is known as "the key to southern Yunnan and the throat to Western Sichuan". The campus covers an area of 760 mu. The existing north campus, South Campus and the first phase of the new campus project are under construction.
