Zhanjiang kindergarten teachers college is the first batch of Kindergarten Teachers College in Guangdong Province approved by the people's Government of Guangdong Province in February 2016 and put on record by the Ministry of education in April 2016. The school size is temporarily determined to be 7300. The school is established on the basis of the former Zhanjiang Institute of education and the former Zhanjiang preschool normal school. The former Zhanjiang Institute of education has a history of more than 30 years of specialized normal education. The former Zhanjiang preschool normal school is the only preschool normal school in western Guangdong, with a history of more than 90 years of secondary normal education. As a provincial base for kindergarten head training and kindergarten teacher training, the school has successively won the titles of provincial civilized unit, advanced collective of provincial general education system, outstanding youth volunteer service collective of "Ninth National Games", advanced unit of continuing education in primary and secondary schools of the province, and pacesetter of civilized unit of Zhanjiang City.
